The location is perfect if you’re looking for something off the beaten path but still special. You’re within walking distant to the Cana Island lighthouse and the view of the water is amazing out the front windows (or from the balcony). The house was clean and beautifully decorated with tons of space for everyone.

We were a group of women who met in college and have been visiting in Door County since 1992. Your home was a perfect gathering place for us, although a little larger than we need. Everything was perfect. The home was very clean and well stocked with more than enough paper supplies and towels. We loved the location for walks over to Cana Island, one of our favorite lighthouses. Pelican Bay was perfect for kayaking and watching sunsets. We would defintely come back if we had more people in our group.

The property was a comfortable, rambling 2 1/2 story home with something for everybody. Whether playing a fast game of ping pong or a competitive game of foosball or darts the place was a kids dream. Our grandkids played in the loft area upstairs while the adults visited downstairs. The 2 person kayak provided a fun and safe !experience in shallow moonlight bay. Peter was a very attentive and communicative host. One great family reunion!

We loved staying here! We had 16 in our group for our weeklong celebration of my in-laws' 50th anniversary: 4 adult couples and eight grandkids from 11-19 years old. There was plenty of room for all of us. We especially loved being able to all eat together at the giant dining table, which is a rarity at this kind of rental. The whole house was truly set up for a large group to enjoy their time together, not just pack in as many beds as possible. We enjoyed early morning coffee and yoga by the lake, fires in the front yard fire pit, and walks to the Cana Island causeway to see the stars - we could not have asked for a more perfect property or location. The host, Peter, is great! He was very helpful and responsive to all my questions before and throughout our stay. We'd all happily return to this property!

The house was great. You have to cross a road to get to the pier but that worked out OK. Sandy beach a short walk away. The lack of rain kept us from utilizing the pier. Kitchen table was great for meals. We could all sit together with room for a few more. Kitchen was well stocked with plates glasses silverware pots pans knives storage containers.
