Close to station, washing machine, basic cooking facilities
130m from train station, 6 tracks trains noisy from 5am- midnight.

Great location, close to Kyoto Station but outside of busy area. Walking distance to market to buy groceries. Nice accommodations with all the necessities for longer stays. Pretty central major sights.
Discouraged for safety reasons to go out on lanai.

Rooms were clean and quiet.
The arrival Check-in process was not good. There was no one at the reception when we arriving around 11am. We called using the phone instructions to reach someone since no code was given at any point via email or otherwise. No staff answered the phone that said to call if no one was at front desk and needed to check-in. We were stuck outside not knowing what to do. Worse experience. Another guest opened the door for us and explain her horrible experience as well saying she had to check-in near the train station. A cleaning staff member showed us where to lock our bags. Then we left to go explore until 4pm then finally found someone at the front desk and were able to check in.The check-in process was the worse we've ever experience.
