It features a spacious deck and an open-concept layout for the living area and kitchen. This cabin can be rented with the studio over the garage for larger groups. What's nearby: The neighborhood is surrounded by the winding Tahoe Donner Golf Course and only a few minutes by car from the Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Area. Donner Lake is five miles south and features sailboat rentals, a sandy beach, and stand-up paddleboarding. Truckee is a mile farther to the east with plenty of shops, restaurants, and museums to explore. Things to know: Full kitchen The use of Tahoe Donner HOA facilities requires additional daily fees *Following the Tahoe Donner HOA agreements, gatherings of people not renting the home are not allowed. Authorities will be notified if there is a party or large gathering in the home. *No excessive noise and/or trash *All exterior lights must be turned off between the hours of 10 pm and 7 am, seven days a week Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Dock details: A dock is available at the Tahoe Donner Beach Club Marina on Donner Lake. Bring your guest cards. A $20 per person per day fee applies. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. Little problem with empty propane bottle. Addressed by owner or property manager. It might be beneficial to let guest know that to shut off grill you must push in knob to close as well as shut off valve. We found grill had all the valves open.

Great place to stay! It snowed the whole time we were there so thankful there was a garage! They didn’t plow the street until 8pm on the 2nd day we were there so couldn’t go anywhere, but there was plenty of snow around the home to play in. They only plowed the driveway once, but we had AWD vehicles so was able to get out of driveway on checkout day. Place was clean and comfy.

The house is nice and comfortable. The oven and the utensils could have been cleaner. The gas stove and center ceiling light in living room did not work and we couldn't get help from vacasa folks. They were not too helpful about getting the snow plow over either, but, the plow eventually came.

Was hard to get information on it, lots of back and forth and who I should be contacting g. Also this home has extra studio be nice to see it listed as an option, and not have to put down 10 people to know about. We enjoyed it!

Cozy home for a winter getaway in close proximity to the Tahoe Donner resort amenities, shopping in truckee and plenty of parking inside the garage and in the driveway. The furniture and beds were comfortable and the kitchen was convenient for cooking at home.

One of the nicest cabins I've stayed at in Tahoe Donner. Well equipped kitchen with newer appliances. Comfortable beds. Extra linens. Spacious family room with huge couch and great entertainment center. Gas fireplace made it really cozy as it was below freezing at night.

Great Cabin that had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Someone had even built a little sledding hill in the backyard that was great for the kids to play on (the cabin did not come with any sleds, but luckily we brought our own). Also really loved that there was a covered patio in the front to store all snow gear / take off wet clothes and boots before heading into the house. The cabin was not ready when we arrived which was frustrating since we have 2 small kids who had just been stuck in the car for many hours, and no where to go because of covid, but made due and the rest of our stay was great.

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for all of us and we enjoyed cooking our meals on site. The neighborhood was quiet and in a nice location. We didn’t take advantage of the clubhouse/rec offering due to the pandemic, but we enjoyed going on walks and nearby hikes.

We arrived a little early and was fully prepared to drive around the neighborhood until 4pm. It was clear that the cleaning crew was there but not even close to even starting to clean our place. I even had to give the cleaning crew guy the code to get into the unit. We came back at 4:15pm and he was still not even close to finishing. He told me I could put the pillow cases on or he could do it. One bathroom wasn’t even stocked with a bar of soap and the master had very little toilet paper with no refill anywhere in the house. The porch was filthy and obviously hadn’t been swept in weeks. The house is great and the location is great but the cleaning crew was NOT great. For the amount of money allocated for “cleaning” as a portion of our rental fees, I was a bit shocked.

The cabin was the perfect size for 2 couples and 3-4 children. Nicely appointed kitchen, comfortable recliners and couch. Easy to use gas fireplace, large tv, nice sized bedroom. Guest bath is shower only, master has bath/shower combo. Soaking-sized tub would have been nice instead of the small bath, but that’s about the only negative. Excellent mud room to leave your wet gear in after a day in the snow.
