Comfortable, clean and great location. Gabi's apartment is well kept with all the amenities one needs. It is up the hill a little bit so be prepared for some up/downhill walking. Gabi was very helpful, responsive and friendly, overall a great host (thank you to Martin as well for letting us in)!
Things to know and note:
We didn't use the kitchen - but it has all the things needed. Laundry - in unit washer and dryer work decently well.
Getting to the apartment - Highly recommend the bus system as its easily navigated and cheap, ~20 min with a change at ZOB and there is a stop right outside of the apartment. We walked from the train station (~30min) to the apartment, do-able however if you have luggage I would not recommend that route as there are many cobblestone sidewalks and lots of uphill walking as you get closer. My wife may never forgive me haha.
As noted in the description there are 3 flights of stairs to get up to the apartment so keep that in mind if you'll have heavy luggage.

We really enjoyed our week in Bamberg. Our apartment was very comfortable, clean and representative of life in Bamberg. Our neighbors in the building were very friendly and very helpful. Most everything in town was within easy walking distance. Parking was extra, but well worth the small cost. Make sure you visit Aecht Schlenkerle and try the smoke beer and food.
Gabi was very friendly and very helpful. She is able to address any issues quickly. We would definitely stay here again if our travels bring us back to Bamberg.

This is a cheerful flat very close to town center and with a bus stop right outside. It doesn’t face the street and is therefore really quiet. Felt like home. I strongly recommend it.

Had a very good experience with the rental. On arrival we were greeted very hospitably and give a detailed introduction to the apartment and it’s features. Comfortable and roomy for a couple. Convenient bus stops adjacent to entryway into the apartment. Excellent place to stay if you want a quiet and relaxing apartment to unwind in at the end of a busy day of sightseeing and travel,

We loved Bamberg and the location of this charming flat was perfect! Gabi and her helpers were amazing. All the amenities were provided including a washer & dryer. Our only issue was with the water pressure in the shower. We strongly recommend this lodging and would happily return again.

Schönes Wochenende in Bamberg
Sehr schöne Lage und alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Einer der wenigen Wohnungen die auch Menschen mit Hund aufnehmen. Direkt um die Ecke gibts auch ein bisschen Grün mit herrlicher Aussicht auf Bamberg :-)
Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist auch sehr in Ordnung!

Fewo in bester Lage
Von der Kommunikation mit der netten Vermieterin bis zur Fewo, deren Ausstattung und Lage war alles perfekt. Ob der kurze Weg zur Altenburg oder ins Stadtzentrum...Alles gut zu erreichen. Den anzumietenden Stellplatz haben wir gern genutzt (unbedingt zu empfehlen). Vielen Dank nochmal für den netten Kontakt. Bamberg ist eine Reise wert und gern auch wieder in dieser Fewo

Zauberhafte Wohnung mitten in Bamberg
Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und es war alles da, was man braucht. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war immer sehr herzlich und freundlich. Unser Extrawunsch wurde problemlos erfüllt :)
In 10 Minuten ist man in der Altstadt, also auch eine tolle Lage.
Leider haben wir die Gabi nicht persönlich kennenlernen dürfen, weil es zeitlich einfach nicht gepasst hat.
Wir hoffen aber, dass wir das beim nächsten Besuch ändern können:)
Wirklich eine tolle Wohnung, um ein paar Tage in Bamberg zu verbringen.

The apartment is clean and quaint with plenty of linens, kitchen supplies and a comfortable sitting area with couch, TV and small table. We were not in the apartment a lot, but used the washer and dryer many times because we packed very light coming from the US. We loved it! It was perfect for our stay and we will likely stay here again in a few years if it it still available to rent.

Man sollte gut zu Fuß sein (Domberg, Treppen im Haus) und in Sommer ist die Wohnung recht warm.
Sonst war alles super: Die Wohnung ist gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet und Gabi sehr nett und zuverlässig.

Schöne Wohnung in direkter Nähe zur Altstadt
Super Kommunikation mit Gabi, welche uns die Wohnung spontan vermietet hat. Sie ist sehr schön eingerichtet und es ist alles in der Küche vorhanden, was man zum Kochen braucht. Das Zentrum hat man in 5-10 Minuten zu Fuß erreicht. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt ist, dass die Rollos nicht so gut abdunkeln.

Gute Lage für die Erkundung der Altstadt
Geräumige Wohnung. Sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Leider knarrt der Fussboden tatsächlich ziemlich laut.
Die Bettdecken- u. wäsche waren (für Allergiker wahrscheinlich gut) leider sehr Polyesterlastig, und für uns dadurch unangenehm. Sonst alles tutti.

Kurztrip nach Bamberg
Urige Ferienwohnung, Holzdielen die ordentlich knacken. Gut ausgestattet mit allem, was benötigt wird. Starker Ventilator, da es an unserem Wochenende ziemlich warm war. Super, dass ein Parkplatz vorhanden war, den wir bezahlen mussten, obwohl in der Anzeige als kostenfreier ausgewiesen war. Zentral gelegen.

Schöne Ferienwohnung am Jakobsberg
Die Ferienwohnung im 2. Stock ist gut ausgestattet, gemütlich und gut gepflegt. Die Wohnungsübergabe und das Zeigen des Parkplatzes durch die freundliche "Hausfee" hat sehr gut geklappt, der Parkplatz ist sehr zu empfehlen. Da man zu Fuß schnell am Domberg und in der Altstadt ist, der Einhornskeller gegenüber zum Einkehren einlädt und ein Tante Emma-Laden fußläufig alles Nötige bereithält, kann man gut aufs Autofahren in Bamberg verzichten.
Ins Schlafzimmer der Wohnung gelangt man durch das Wohnzimmer, was u.U. gut zu wissen ist, wenn man auch die Schlafcouch im Wohnzimmer nutzen möchte.
Es gibt keine Spülmaschine, aber die Küche ist sehr gut mit Geschirr und Kochutensilien ausgestattet. Außerdem bietet die Bamberger Altstadt unzählige Möglichkeiten, einzukehren.
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in der Wohnung und würden sie jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

Schöne Ferienwohnung in super Lage und optionalen Stellplatz
Wir waren zu viert über ein Wochenende in Bamberg und haben uns in der Ferienwohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man als Feriengast benötigt. Insbesondere empfehlen wir den zwar kostenpflichtigen Stellplatz, aber der ist sein Geld allemal wert. Und wenn man dann noch den Anleitungen folgt, ist der Stellplatz auch super bequem und schnell zu erreichen. Supernetter Kontakt zu der Vermieterin, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Eine empfehlenswerte und gemütliche Wohnung zum rundum Wohlfühlen
Die Lage der Wohnung oberhalb des Domberges und im zweiten Stock des Hauses erfordert eine gewisse Fitness. Angesichts der Unterstützung bei An- und Abreise durch den Vermieter und dank unserer Räder konnten wir (71 und 69 J.) dies gut händeln. Auch die Duschvorrichtung in der Badewanne benötigt etwas Beweglichkeit.
Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber, geräumig, hell und sehr gut ausgestattet. Mit ihrer lebensfrohen und liebevollen Gestaltung fühlten wir uns sofort wie zuhause. Vielerlei Material mit Infos für Bamberg und Umgebung gaben uns wertvolle Anregungen.

Entspannter Kurztrip nach Bamberg
Unseren Kurztrip nach Bamberg konnten wir dank der süß eingerichteten Wohnung richtig genießen. Frühstück zubereiten hat auch für 4 Leute in der Küche gut geklappt, zum Essen sind wir dann ins Wohnzimmer wo es etwas mehr Platz gibt. Sauberes Bad und Frische Handtücher waren ebenso vorhanden wie gute Tipps für Bamberg. Gerne wieder!

Schöne Zeit in Bamberg
Diese Ferienwohnung im 2.OG eines gut erhaltenen Altstadtwohnhauses ist relativ zentral an der Bamberger Altstadt gelegen und der Domplatz sowie die Altstadt sind von ihr sehr gut zu Fuß erreichbar.
Man kommt auch bestens mit der Stadtbuslinie 910 über die Haltestelle Jakobsplatz durch Bamberg's Altstadt und zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten darin, sollte man einmal etwas „pflastermüde“ sein.
In der Wohnung selbst fühlt man sich sofort wie daheim. Alles ist sauber, das Ambiente geschmackvoll und farbenfroh. Die Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs sind allesamt vorhanden und in gutem Zustand.
Die Wohnungsübergabe erfolgte sehr gut organisiert und wurde von einer sehr freundlichen "Hausfee" übernommen.
Wir waren während unseres Bamberg-Aufenthalts rundum zufrieden und können diese Herberge guten Gewissens weiter empfehlen.

Rustig, mooi uitzicht op groen, heel fijn bed, keuken volleidg ingericht, prima huis kortom en op loopafstand van centrum.
GASTVROUW is geweldig. Supersnel in contact en heel precies. Zij weet hoe gasten het graag geregeld hebben. Ze heeft ons veel mee dan nodig gecompenseerd toen we een uur later konden inchecken vanwege een misverstand met haar sleutelbeheerder. Ze was TO P!

Tolle Lage - schnuckelige Wohnung - freundliche Gastegeber
Eine schöne Altbauwohnung, ruhig gelegen, und doch ist die Altstadt fußläufig in ein paar Minuten zu erreichen.
Auch ohne Auto ist man bestens angebunden:
- Kleiner Tante-Emma-Laden mit frischen Brötchen in 300 Meter Entfernung
- Wunderschöner Biergarten: 100 Meter
- die nächste Bushaltestelle Richtung ZOB und Bahnhof: 200 Meter
Für uns war es ein wunderschönes langes Wochenende!

Altbauwohnung neu Renoviert. Sauber. War alles da.
Bodenbeläge sehr Nervig. Man hörte sogar jeden schritt des Hundes da Bretterboden im Treppenhaus und Wohnung knarrte wie verrückt. Kurz Trip ok. Preis dafür auch.

Bamberg in Zeiten Corona
Auch, wenn die gastronomischen Möglichkeiten beschränkt waren, haben wir diese einmalige Ruhe in der Stadt und die schöne Natur drum herum sehr genossen.
Die Fewo ist in ruhiger Lage, fußläufig zur Altstadt sowie hübsch eingerichtet und bot uns alles, was wir für unseren Kurzurlaub benötigten. Getoppt wurde das Ganze noch durch die reizende "Hausfee" - vielen Dank dafür.
Es war ein rundum schöner Aufenthalt - wir kommen gerne wieder.

A house like a home indeed! Very cosy and warm appartment near the centre of Bamberg. Great beds, well equiped kitchen and the hospitality is found in every detail including all the stuff you need but never carry with you (from salt to soap, from umbrella to shoppingbag). A 10 minute walk to the Dome, fresh kaiserbrotchen from Tante Emma in the Storchgasse, a busstop for 910 very close. All you need to make a stay in Bamberg even more worthwhile.
