About this cottage rental
Vernacular architecture house of the seventeenth century, adapted to people with special needs, which serves meals a encmenda surrounded by terraces in basaltic stone, which was cultivated vineyard. The terraces glimpse up enchanting landscapes of sea / mountain.
The farmhouse has a farmyard with 200m2, a space where the folder Joaquina donkey and house cats. Very green and quiet space, providing the absolute relax after a beautiful walks in the Azorean nature. By reservation we serve dinners, whose ingredients are mostly grown on the farm, organic farming as well as birds of poultry kept in the open and fed corn, bran, vegetables, and worms that esgravatam ervinhas on Thursday.

A Truly Unforgettable Stay with Manuel on São MiguelOur stay on the beautiful island of São Miguel was made absolutely unforgettable thanks to our incredible host, Manuel. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and kindness that it immediately felt like home. Many friendly animals also greeted us including two wonderfully friendly dogs, chickens and roosters, and even an adorable donkey!What truly set this experience apart was the extraordinary home-cooked meal Manuel prepared for us. It was nothing short of spectacular — a celebration of local flavors, carefully crafted with love and authenticity. Every bite reflected his passion for cooking and pride in Azorean culture. The freshness of the ingredients, the traditional recipes, and the cozy atmosphere of his home created one of the most memorable dining experiences we’ve ever had.Beyond the amazing food, Manuel went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. His knowledge of the island, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality made every moment of our stay feel special. I truly cannot say enough about the beauty and charm of both this property and the lovely hosts. Manuel was kind and communicative leading up to our visit, and during. The terraced property offers incredible views from the porch and windows of the beautifully updated original home, but the most breathtaking vista can be found on the top terrace under the pavilion. While our visit this time was far too short, we are already looking forward to the next time we can stay here for a longer visit.

We were a group of 5, grandparents, parents and a toddler. The house served us very well for our 6 nights on Sao Miguel. It is well located, close both to the airport and Ponta Delgada.
Manuel helped arrange car rental for us, and answered any questions that we had. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

From the start the booking expeeejnce was very easy and simple. Manuel emailed and replied very quickly with information and directions for the property as well as helping us with finding a car rental company and organised everything for us.
The villa is easy to find and very central location to the whole island. The property is located in a quiet village surrounded by lovely gardens and greenery as well as cats and a donkey as residents.
Inside the property very clean and equipped with everything you need with very spacious three bedrooms, one double in the main room with ensuite with lovely views and the two twin rooms downstairs, one with an ensuite.
I would most definitely come back and stay again and the accommodation is ideal for your visit. The island is Sao Miguel is a wonderful magical place and we will be back soon.
Manuel thank you so much for all your help and assistance and hopefully see you one day soon.
