We had family visiting and the house was perfect! The house is beautiful. Everyone loved it. Lots of room in the kitchen to cook. We loved the easy access to the beach. The host was really nice. Would definitely recommend.

We have rented three different properties at Qualicum Landing over the years and all of them have been great. Awesome community. Suits our needs perfectly.

Overall great stay at this property/complex with a couple hiccups. -The check-in code didn't work on arrival, however communication with the property manager was excellent so it didn't take long to get the proper code. -There was no "welcome sheet" etc., that explained the basics/policies and so on, so I felt like I had to bug the property manager a few times for some basic questions (wifi password, garbage/compost etc.,). They did mention that a welcome information sheet was in the works (and again, they're communication was prompt!) -The home is not a good setup for more than one family in my opinion. The 3 bedrooms are spacious, but due to the bed sizes (1 double, 1 queen, 1 bunkbed), we had to have people sleeping on the floor to make it work which wasn't ideal. If the upstairs bedroom was a queen, it would make a lot more sense (definitely room for it too). I would also suggest adding another single to the bunk room as it has the room for kids etc. If you were one family and only had 2 adults or 1 other adult for the double, no big deal (we had grandparents with us). -Location was great, easy to get to Qualicum, Qualicum Beach, Coombs etc., -Pool right across the lawn from the house, our kids (2 and 4) had lots of space to play outside in front of the patio and easy to get to the pool which was great. -The beach at Qualicum Landing is beautiful, but very rocky (large rocks) so a bit hard to navigate for young kids. Still fun to explore but I would pack up and go to Qualicum Beach if you want a beach day. -If it were just my wife and I with our two kids, we would stay again. But if grandparents joined us, we would stay in a unit with a better bed setup.

Family reunion

Family reunion

This was the first time getting together with my sister and her family from the USA since the pandemic. The unit is beautifully fitted out with everything you need for fun. We enjoyed the pool, the beach, the friendly neighborhood feeling. The kitchen has everything you need for fun summer meals. We built puzzles and sat out late on the patio with the gas fire table keeping us warm. Thanks for having us enjoy your home.

This is a great location with very close beach, pool and spa access & this unit is dog-friendly. Unit gets lovely morning sun and there is lots of nice green space at the back of the condo. Kitchen is equipped for making all meals, and there is lots of room in kitchen, dining, & living area, with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for family use.

This property has it all. Great for kids - pool, beach, lots of activities nearby, hiking, biking, etc. Great for adults- quiet, beautiful morning walks on the beach. Great for teens- hiking, biking, kayaking, boating. The property has everything you need. Just make sure you bring groceries. BC doesn’t like to open early or stay open late. And bring your own pillows if get a sore neck. But overall this is great holiday. Beach combing to hiking. To swimming and scenic tours.

Great pool location for families with older kids - easy to keep an eye on them from the back patio. Downside for us was the pool closed at 8pm so that was a bit early. Quiet location - couldnt find any restaurants that delivered - so make sure to plan ahead and pick up or have groceries. Also, the cottage does not have AC, but there are a few fans throughout the home.

We rented this lovely little house for a month, located in the middle of everything. Great neighbourhood, beautiful green space at the ocean. Was disappointed in the beds, pillows and bedding, and there was no essentials for the first few days (there was no hand soap, dish & dishwasher soap, garbage bags, laundry soap) (the house keeper left dirty sheets with a note saying no laundry soap). Owner was quick to respond to texts.

I spent 5 nights here with my daughter and young grandchildren We arrived to soft music playing and a bottle of wine on the counter. It was beautifully and tastefully decorated with all the amenities of home. There is a green space directly off the outdoor patio with comfortable seating to watch the children. The pool is directly in front of the green space and the kids spent many hours getting cooled off and having fun.. Sleeping arrangements with bunk beds downstairs are so nice. Will certainly be back!! Thank you David

I visited Qualicum Landing with my wife, 2 kids aged 3 and 4, and one of their grandparents. Easy to say we had an amazing time. Days spent going to the lake, beach, the caves (yes caves) and many attractions in nearby Parksville. Evenings were spent in the pool which was outside the back door and BBQ's on the patio. This unit was modern, clean and had everything you would need. We stayed for 8 nights and had an amazing time. We highly recommend this for parents with young kids as there are several things to do, including exploring the beach which is about 150 meters away. Great place!! You won't go wrong with booking this unit!! P.S. Don't get your kids haircut from the Barber in town in the musty old, classic looking Barber Shop unless your kid is an 80 year old bald guy cuz that's the only hair he would be able to cut successfully (good thing hair grows back) ;)

Beautiful house and a great location! This is a great place to relax and unwind. Our children loved the pool. The beach is rocky, but great for finding crabs and starfish. Dave was a pleasure to work with. We would definitely return!

We enjoyed a lovely week here. There is everything you could possibly need at the house, just stock it with groceries and you are good to go! The house is tastefully furnished, the beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is stocked with every utensil and dishes. There is a gorgeous East dating patio, perfect for morning coffee in the sunshine. The pool is about 50feet away, perfect for the kids! The beach is a two minute walk and very pretty. The community is gated, which lends itself to greater privacy and security. I would totally recommend this for a perfect vac a to. We will definitely be back! OH, and the bottle of wine that greeted us on arrival is an awesome touch!

We rented this home for 4 months this winter. It would be a great place to stay for people just wanting to relax and get away from it all. It is very nicely furnished. There is a recreation center with a swimming pool and hot tubs that are open for use in the summer. We walked down to the ocean every day to watch the seals, sea lions and eagles.

Great Central Location

Great Central Location

Great central location on Vancouver Island with easy access to Tofino, Campbell River, and Nanaimo. Qualicum is quiet and peaceful....less touristy than staying in Parksville. The rental was in pristine condition. Dave was very easy to work with on booking the rental and quickly addressed any issues. Look forward to returning again for more adventures on Vancouver Island.
