Fully equipped kitchen with 4 burner electric stove and oven, fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, kettle, etc. Two automatic recliners (no sofa) Full size washer and dryer. Shower with seat. (No tub) Fully fenced yard for pet safety. Large covered west facing sunny deck with outdoor kitchen with custom bench seating around table. Comfy patio chairs and zero gravity beds for soaking up the sun. Property is fully fenced and surrounded by 12' high cedar hedge. Walking distance to several restaurants and bars. Beach and waterfront park is only a1 minute walk away. Village shopping is a five minute drive. Private off street parking at front door.

The cottage is very cute, well presented, in a super location just steps from the beach and has a wonderful, outdoor 'room' complete with hot tub. Very enjoyable.

The pictures online were an accurate depiction of the property. It was colourful and cozy and charming. Very comfortable. The kitchen had all the tools for cooking and we did just that. The hot tub was a nice added bonus!

This is our second visit here. We love it for it's location to the beach and a great place to take our dog for walks. It has everything you need to enjoy your stay. We look forward to our next stay.

Wow!! So awesome, looks exactly like the photos! Please note that the Queen bed is in the smaller room for those used to a King! Well equipped has everything you could want! Outdoor Patio with BBQ and awesome hot tub is completely private and so comfortable!!! We went on long road trips each day so coming back to this amazing place was the end to perfect days. You will not be disappointed.

I have never stayed at a place as amazing as this one! The house divine and so lovingly decorated and maintained. Just walking in, you instantly feel happy. Bright colours, sun and a view of the ocean. Nirvana! In addition, Pat and Richard have anticipated every possible need you could have - from luxurious robes to dog dishes and dog towels to complimentary coffee to laundry detergent to a catio for your cat to a hose for rinsing your dog to a Netflix subscription to fly swatters to outdoor candles and every single little thing in between! And the cleanliness is top notch. As a cancer patient coming out of chemo with a compromised immune system, I had absolutely no concerns. The area where the house is located is perfect! As the description says, the beach is steps away to the right and a small park is directly across. The street is a short cul-de-sac with almost no traffic and is very quiet at night. Pat and Richard are close by and give you ample privacy but are available and extremely warm and welcoming when and if you need them. If we could have stayed there forever, we would have! We will definitely be going back every summer that we are able to :)

With the beach just a short stroll away, we enjoyed our morning coffees with a wonderful water view. The cottage was perfect for two people and a dog. It had all the needed amenities and comfortable beds. I enjoyed the colour scheme and decorations. The host was very helpful and gave us a quick tour of how things worked in the rental.

The property was welcoming, artwork and furnishings eyecatching and colorful. The ocean visible from the windows. We spent time outside by the firepit, in the hot tub snd walking on the beach while snow fell.

The cottage is absolutely charming, super clean and warm and cozy (we stayed in Nov). Host was very nice. Would love to stay in the summer too as it has an amazing deck and outdoor kitchen. Didn’t bring my dog this time but yard is fully fenced so would work really well. Area is great and only a few hundred metres to a beach.

The property is a little coastal cottage within walking distance of the beach. A very short drive into central QB, it is also conveniently close access to both Hwy 19 and Hwy 4 if you are travelling or exploring the nearby hiking trails. Sweet, bright little place.

The neighbourhood is fantastic, I just wish I had done my homework a little bit more. We did not realize the owners were so close in the back yard. Could hear everything. The place is cozy but a little bit outdated. Too much painters tape with written instructions everywhere: Actually was quite comical

Property exactly as stated. Kitchen and bbq area had all the tools and lots of dishes to eat. Especially loved the huge mugs for morning coffee. Excellent location just a hop from the beach where we could walk for a long way. Totally recommend for a couple or a couple with kids.

This was our first time at this property - very much as shown on the listing. We absolutely loved the space and location. Back yard was perfect for our little dog. Pat and Richard were very responsive to any inquiry. Monty and Barney are lovely, friendly dogs. Definitely looking to book longer next year!!!

Enjoyed 4 lovely days at Pat and Richards. In one word I would say perfect. The location, cleanliness, coziness of the cottage, the delightful outdoor area complete with outdoor kitchen and hot tub. They sure thought of everything when putting this little gem together. Upon arrival Richard gave us the tour of the cottage and left us with the words "enjoy yourselves and have fun." And that is exactly what we did. Although the cottage is on the property where they live, they give you complete privacy but let you know that if you need anything all you have to do is ask. Anything you may want outside the cottage is within walking distance (restaurants, beach, park, some trails etc). We will definately be returning. Thanks Pat and Richard.

We arrived and was greeted by Richard to show us around . The house had all we needed to enjoy a lovely vacation and was just steps from the beach. Across the lane from the house is a park space that walks onto the beach. Great location .We will be back.

Great little cottage with a terrific outdoor area, short walk to the beach and quick drive to downtown Qualicum. We spent a lot of time enjoying the back deck, even on cooler mornings thanks to the heater under the main table. The house is cozy with a fun, quirky charm and Richard was very friendly and helpful. Our dog enjoyed the back deck as much as we did and loved that his morning walks included exploring the beach. We look forward to staying here again next time we visit the area.

House is cute and neat.... close to the beach. Hot tub and outdoor space is great Its a busy property and close to the main road.... motorcycle noise is a constant. Those things aside...awesome!
