Great apartment! Very roomy and comfortable for our family. Seven adults stayed and never got in each others way. Great restaurants and bakeries in walking distance. Balcony was a plus for our great December weather! Took a 40 minute train ride to Sitges-so beautiful!

Excellent value and location. Monica was friendly and professional and provided some helpful recommendations, including 2 terrific restaurants. Easy walk to most of the places to see and subway stations are close by for anything further.

The Apt fit all our needs, wonderful neighborhood, walkable to sites , great restaurants , Very comfortable beds and a quite upscale neighborhood.
It was very nicely appointed with everything we needed for our week stay .
Monica even left us some essentials in the refrigerator which was a really nice touch .
Would definitely stay again when we return .

Monica the owner is very attentive and responsive. Speaks English well. Apartment was clean, and beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were a little small as most of my family is very tall. We had a little problem with the 2 window units not cooling very well, but the others worked great and fans provided cool air. The location was fantastic, many bars and good restaurants. Monica gave some very great recommendations! Still working with VRBO to remedy a glitch regarding our reservation, but nothing on Monica’s end. I would recommend !

My family of six adults enjoyed everything about this place. It was nicely decorated and very comfortable. The check in process was great and communication before our arrival was great as well. We were warmly greeted and given a tour of the place as well as recommendations on where to eat (we ate at one place twice it was so good)and were provided some milk and juice in the refrigerator which was a nice touch. There was a small market right next door that made it easy for us to grab anything we needed. There was an elevator for those not able to, or not wanting to climb the stairs. All the rooms had A/C that worked great. The location was great for all we did as well. Would definately stay here again. Don't hesitate to book!

Apartment is very spacious, air con in each room. It was lovely to open up the windows on the balcony area in the cool morning.
We had an issue with the moka which was replaced immediately and we were able to make & enjoy a coffee.

We loved our stay in this Barcelona apartment. Everyone in the family had their own space and the sunroom overlooking the courtyard was a great morning meeting place to start the day. The location was perfect and the host amazing!

We stayed for a week in this lovely apartment. It's central for everything in the city. It is very spacious, comfortable and well equipped.
Monica the owner was really friendly, met us at the apartment to check us in and answered all our questions.
The apartment has great air-conditioning in every room.
I'd recommend this apartment to any family. We'll hopefully stay again soon as our son lives in Barcelona and we'll come with other family members.

My family of 4 stayed here for 2 weeks. The place was perfect. Monica was great at communicating with us before our arrival and tracking our delayed flight so that check in was fast. The apartment is located in a great area of the city. Close to many restaurants and attractions. It is very safe to walk at all hours. There are also metro and train stations very close. A small market right downstairs and a great coffee shop 2 min walk away. The apartment was very spacious with more room than we needed. It is a long apartment, you come in in the middle with 3 bedrooms to the left, the bathrooms, kitchen, 4t bedroom and living room indoor patio room all to the right. This makes it really nice for multiple families or friends as the bedrooms are very quiet even if others want to stay up late or wake up early. The kitchen was well stocked, although we never really cooked. Monica set us up with coffee, tea, cheeses, eggs, milk and snacks (extra grocery package option), which was nice for our late arrival. The apartment was clean, laundry was a plus (soap provided). We would definitely stay her again and highly recommend. The bonus was on our last day the Barcelona FC parade when right by the apartment, giving us a VIP view of the league champs.

Don’t hesitate to book this place! We stayed a week and loved it. Location is awesome, close to many restaurants and there is a 24hr little grocery store right downstairs. Subway stop is right outside. As is a taxi stand. Communication with the property manager was perfect. The place is clean and coffee pods and drinks in the fridge was a very nice touch.

Despite some flight delays for half of the group the trip was awesome and this apartment only made it better! Perfect location to walk everywhere! We only took a taxi a couple of times. There were plenty of beds for everyone to have their own. Monica is very nice and helpful. The groceries really helped on time and the perfect amount. Everything was clean and comfortable. We will definitely book this apartment when we come back to Barcelona.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment is centrally located next to many must see Barcelona attractions. Easy access to restaurants and several markets. Communication was good and the check in and out process was easy. I will repeat a comment made on another review that there is the smell of sewer present, we kept the restroom doors closed and it was tolerable.

Monica was a terrific host - always responded promptly to our questions before our stay. She met us at the apartment for check in and gave us a tour of the apt and how to use the appliances. We pre-ordered the full fridge pack, which I highly recommend. The food was delicious and the choices Mònica made were perfect for us. The apt is in a great location and we could walk or taxi everywhere quite easily. There’s a hotel at end of block where it was easy to find taxis. The apt was very clean and it was nice to have so much space for our family of four. We would highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay in the apartment. Monica was great at communicating and timely in her responses. She met us at the apartment when we got there and helped us get all our stuff in and get settled. She also had great recommendations for places to eat and things to do.
The apartment was huge and there is a long hallway so the bedrooms towards the back were pretty isolated and quiet from the living room. There were 6 of us (4 adults, a 4 year old and a 5 month old) and it was so nice to be able to have the space to move around after being in hotel rooms on earlier legs of our trip.
The apartment is in a perfect location with tons of restaurants and stores nearby and also right next to a number of metro stops that can get you quickly to a lot of places you may want to see (Sagrada, Park Guell, Boqueria Market). La Pedrera is just two blocks away. We were so happy with the stay and would definitely stay there again.

Very nice for it's antique atmosphere. Americans perhaps will be troubled by the plumbing oders inherent in old buildings. The charm more than compensated. Very comfortable and great location. Highly recommend.

We were thrilled that the apartment was so perfectly fitted our needs. It was large and comfortable for 6 adults. The location made walking to some sites very easy and the number of cabs available right out the door made the rest accessible. The communications between us and our hostess were easy to maintain. We really loved the apartment and the neighborhood!

Spent 4 nights here while visiting my daughter who lives in Barcelona. The flat was extremely clean and the essentials were provided on arrival: orange juice, milk, water, tea, coffee. Unusual in my experience was that the sponge in the kitchen was new and clean. Excellent touch. Double bedroom overlooking a very busy street was soundproof. Air conditioning was excellent and quiet. Parking is just around the corner and property manager gets you a discount. Taxi stand is on the corner if you're not able to flag down a taxi on the street. Bed was very comfortable. I would highly recommend!

Very well appointed apartment with all the commodities. Well stocked kitchen and supplies such as washer soap, shampoo, hand soap all included. Even a few pantry items such as milk and orange juice, coffee and tea. Very clean and quiet spot, loves it.

I highly recommend the Blau Apartment for anyone visiting Barcelona. The location and amenities are perfect! . Even more impressive is the host, Monica. She has thought of everything. For example, we were pleased to find several umbrellas by the door when surprised by rain showers one afternoon. If you take advantage of her “fridge pack” you will be stocked with a variety of delicious, high quality food for your stay. She is always available and responsive. Our first visit to Barcelona was perfect, thanks to Monica!

This apartment was a welcomed stop in our travels in Europe. It had plenty of room for us and our two kids both in their late teens.
Monica stayed in communication right up to our arrival and provided easy instructions to get to the unit as well as once we arrived clear instructions on the unit itself. The unit is air conditioned which was a relief after the previous two weeks of our travel were spent in locations that were not. She even has a very well appointed binder with restaurant suggestions, local sites and shopping. We went to three of the restaurants on her list and they were all very good.
The location is perfect, putting you in walking distance of a lot of sites and thee are bus and sub way stops right in the area. The street is quite for being located in a big city like Barcelona.
If you enjoy shopping this is a good location. Short walks to the Rambla and surrounding shops.
We love Barcelona and this unit was a perfect location to really enjoy this wonderful city, we will be back.

We really felt at home at Blau Apartment while visiting Barcelona !!!
The Blau apartment is located in the Eixample neighborhood, which was perfect for our family of 6. A charming area, very close to a lot of fabulous attractions, and well linked through the city’s transportation system. Very safe, with lots of options nearby to dine. Monica communicated outstandingly throughout the process (from the initial reservation, arrival, departure, and in-between). She patiently answered questions we had and was wonderful to deal with. Our family of 6 was extremely comfortable in the apartment. It’s very spacious, pristine clean, accessible through an elevator (or stairs, if you prefer), and an air conditioner that worked fantastic during this Summer heat wave :) We felt at home and we would LOVE to return to Blau apartment when we return to Barcelona. Wonderful city and a wonderful stay. Thank you, Monica !!!

Perfect spot i. Barcelona!
Monica was an amazing host. Even before we arrived in Barcelona, she provided us with insight and options about the city. The apartment was immaculate and as lovely as the pictures. It was the perfect home base for the six of us to explore the city. We fell in love with the city, so if we return we would definitely stay here again. It was a perfect spot to move throughout the sites and restaurants of Barcelona.

Nothing short of awesome!
Do not hesitate for one second on this perfect apartment!! First, Monica was amazing! She was helpful and kind in every way. She did an excellent job stocking the fridge for us (well worth the money) and helped us with dinner reservations. There were 6 of us...me and my husband, three teenage kids and my 75 year old mom. So much space for all of us. And, the location is perfect because you are in the L'Exiample area so it isn't super crowded with tourists like in Bari Gotic or Las Ramblas area and you can walk in every direction and will pass countless bakeries, restaurants, cafes, shops and pharmacies. Our whole family felt safe in this neighborhood and there were plenty of taxis at all times. Thank you, Monica, for accepting our request to stay at your wonderful apartment!!

Perfection in Barcelona!
Monica's apartment was exactly as advertised on the listing and Monica herself was a gracious and welcoming host. Our daughter is vegan, and we purchased the welcome pack from Monica, and she'd stocked it with thoughtful items that our daughter could eat. We had a minor issue with one of the showers and Monica had a repair person come out the following day to fix the issue. She was so quick to respond to all our enquiries!
The location could not have been any more perfect for our needs. It was a super safe area, with a multitude of wonderful eateries, bakeries, and shopping.
We'd return in a heartbeat to Monica's place, and highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Barcelona for a few nights.

Wonderful service, spacious apartment with amenities.
Monica was so welcoming and communicative. She filled our refrigerator with gluten free items for our celiac family. The apartment is is a safe and beautiful part of the city. The terrace overlooking courtyard is a quiet respite. There were some issues with the air conditioning but Monica had it fixed quickly.

We had a wonderful stay in Barcelona. We love this city and go often. The apartment is quite large and on the 1st floor: it is long and narrow with the master bedroom overlooking the street and the veranda overlooking a courtyard which is quiet. There are two sets of windows in the master bedroom which luckily cuts out most of the noise so we were able to sleep ok!
