Great location, clean, comfortable, friendly service, fresh towels everyday, comfortable beds, very quiet. Would return.
Minor improvement suggestions, for a longer stay a washing machine would be good. The bathroom toiletries provided were budget level rather than what was pictured in the images. I missed having the hard Japanese style pillows that we’ve had elsewhere.

Location! 3-min walk to the famous Kiyomizu-dera Temple and surrounding historical neighborhood full of shops, restaurants, and cafes.Excellent for renting a kimono and taking picture to beat the crowd. Please bring a breakfast with you, most of the cafe around open at 9:30. Very comfortable beds, the staff is fast on answering your texts after working hours.
Attention: very difficult to get a taxi/Uber on the way out, One has to walk down the street to the taxi station, which is not easy if you have lots of language.

Perfect location to visit Kiyomizu-dera temple area.
The assigned room was not conform with the description of the room on the booking.com platform. We paid for a one bedroom apartment with 2 double beds, a separate seating area and a fully equipped kitchen for 3 adults. We received a room with 2 single beds (120 cm width), no separate seating area and had to ask for a mattress so that the 3 rd adult could sleep on the floor and cutlery to be able to have a small breakfast. We even didn't receive glasses.This was our worst stay of the 5 stays of our Japan trip.
