Right out your door you can enjoy great local food from Little Bohemia Tavern, Mary's Kitchen Port, cheese lady, Burritt's Market, wine shop and more. Beaches and tart trail all within walking distance. The house has a beautiful wrap around porch where you can enjoy coffee in the morning, happy hour or just sit and people watch.

Absolutely loved this house! The uniqueness of how it is broken down into mini apartments is really nice. We all had space yet felt like we were still all together. Very comfortable, easy walk to anything downtown.

The Burdhouse was a great choice for our stay in TC. Celebrating my 60th birthday with my 4 member Bday crew. The house was much prettier in person. It was spotless when we arrived. The ladies enjoyed having our own separate spaces with the 3 bedrooms downstairs and suit upstairs. Great location right on Front street in walking distance to many restaurants and stores. Tammy gave us great recommendations, great communication with her and easy access to the house. The neighbors were also very friendly and helpful to us. I would recommend the Burdhouse to my friends and family for a wonderful stay in Traverse City.

We had a group of 5 who love to bike. The house is located close to everything...town, the water, and biking trails. Traverse City is a bike-friendly community. Could ha e stayed for a week and not been bored.

This was a perfect rental for our girls weekend. There was plenty of room for 6 of us and the house was very cute and fully stocked with everything we needed. The location was perfect and within walking distance to the local shops and restaurants. Tammy was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend!

Located across from a wonderful cheese shop, steps from a Grand Traverse Pie Co location, and on front street for easy access to Traverse City shops and restaurants - yet still quiet and relaxing. Well stocked, very comfortable beds and plenty of room to relax. Great getaway!

This is a wonderful space to host family or friends! Lots of space and super convenient access to downtown TC. Parking is helpful as it’s offered next to the house off a side street. Great base for exploring TC and surrounding areas.

The Birdcage is a very lovely home. Tammy has paid much attention to detail in this gem. The rooms were perfect for our girls weekend getaway. Bed comfortable, decor awesome. At first we thought it would b weird having 3 kitchens and living rooms, but worked out so well. We joined together in the main part of the house for snacks and games. Loved the view. Perfect location. Wished it would have been nicer weather to enjoy the awesome outdoor wrap around porch. Can't say enough about Tammy. We already have next year's trip planned.

Great Place to stay in TC. The cleanliness of the place was excellent. The rooms were large and there was plenty of space. Location was very convenient being right in town. I would stay here again and highly recommend it to others if your staying in TC.

We had a wonderful time in Traverse City while staying at the Burdhouse. The location of this historic home cannot be beaten. We were within literal walking distance of everything in downtown TC. There are four bedrooms and three (yes, three!) fully stocked kitchens. We joked throughout our stay about which kitchen to use at which particular time. The communication with the property owner was excellent and when a small problem occurred, she was highly responsive. Overall, we had an excellent stay!

We have visited T.C for the past 15 years, and stayed in several different places. For our 20 year Anniversary we picked this house, and we are so glad we did! This is by far the BEST place we have stayed! It’s beautiful inside and out! You can tell it is well taken care of. It was ready when we arrived and it was clean. I felt comfortable walking around without shoes on, and that says a lot coming from me. Tammy was easy to deal with and responded quickly to the few questions we had before arrival. Everything is a close walk or drive! The Cheese lady across the street is also a plus :) We can’t wait to return next year ! Thanks, Tammy, for providing us with such a nice place to stay.

This was my first time doing Vrbo and going to Traverse City. The house and location was perfect. I couldn’t have asked for a better first time experience. The Burdhouse is charming and quaint. Would definitely visit again.

Everyone gets their own space. The entire house is charming. Great people watching on Front Street from the front living room and porch. Property manager even provided K-cups…must be or appreciate a coffee drinker!! My family loved The Burdhouse!!

Charming house, perfect location for meandering downtown to the shops and restaurants and strolls along the lakefront. Perfect for families, multiple bedroom and bathrooms. One king-sized bed, the rest queens. Wish there had been a tub, there are only showers. Will definitely return!

My husband and I spent almost a week at the Burdhouse. The house is cool and we loved being able to walk to restaurants, bars, and CVS. Check-in was easy and Tammy was very responsive.

There were 4 of us that stayed at The Burdhouse for my 30th birthday weekend. The wrap around porch was great for relaxing on in the evening. We also loved how close we were to downtown and could easily walk to shops, breweries, and restaurants. There was also a liquor store and CVS across the street which was very convenient for random needs. Thank you so much!!

4 couples shared this property for the weekend. The common areas are great for socializing - too bad the weather didn't allow us to enjoy the outdoor areas, which were also very well done. Great location. Looking forward to getting back to The Burdhouse when the weather is better.

I rented this charming home for my 60th birthday girls weekend. My daughters and daughter in laws (6 of us) stayed and enjoyed a wine tour and other activities. A neat home with separate spaces so you can all be together yet have privacy when needed. We were very comfortable and it was very cozy.
