This is why we are offering a flexible change and cancellation policy. - CLEANING: SkyRun is performing rigorous cleaning procedures as recommended by the CDC, AHLA, and VRMA to keep our guests healthy and our homes clean. Following the cleaning process, housekeepers will then disinfect properties with a hospital-grade disinfectant. Take advantage of this brand-spankingly-new-remodeled one-bedroom right I the heart of everything! Perfectly situated to keep you safe during COVID, this is a rare 1BR with a private outdoor entrance. Just two blocks from the 1A base it will provide safe outdoor (non-gondola) access to Aspen Ajax ski area. Two blocks from the ski lift, one block to the summer trail system, and a three-block walk to the center of town and free buses to everywhere. You can't beat this place for the price. Sleeps 4. Pivate Ski locker out the door! Located at the historic base of Aspen mountain this property is right in the middle of it all. Koch park is immediately adjacent to the property for summer fun. The expansive Aspen trail system starts right from your door as well. Lift 1A is just two blocks out the front door, Gondola Plaza is just three blocks, and the heart of downtown Aspen is just two blocks as well. If location is your goal, this is hard to beat. Leave your car at home as you can walk or take the free RFTA buses anywhere in Aspen or its surrounding areas. The unit is on the second floor via an outside staircase. There is no elevator. You enter the unit through two glass sliding doors. In the summer these can be opened to a fairly expansive common deck space with green space below perfect for relaxing in the sun with a good book. Freshly remodeled, entering the unit there is a large living area complete with a sleeper sofa, game table, electric fireplace, and a TV with Comcast digital cable for when you choose to stay in. There are coat racks by the door to hang your active gear. Lightwoods and bright backsplash finishes really brighten the place up and make you feel good! Continuing inward is a fully appointed kitchen with a wrap-around countertop and stool seating for three for breakfast. The kitchen has a brand new refrigerator, microwave, oven, dishwasher, four electric burners, a toaster, coffee maker, knives and cookware, as well as serving ware for four in case you want to have friends over for dinner. In case you travel with work, across from the kitchen is a desk for all your productivity needs. Moving backward are two large gear closets, enough to swallow up anything you need. There is also a stackable private washer/dryer in the unit which will be stocked with detergent for mid-stay cleans. We have extra sheets and blankets at the ready in case someone needs to stay the night. Across from the cabinets is a full bathroom complete with a new stand up glassed-in shower. Good vanity lighting and a wrap-around mirror will aid in getting ready for a night on the town. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed, a walk-in closet, a TV with Comcast for nighttime movies as well as a private deck. The deck overlooks Dean St. with views of Red Mountain and Koch park, the perfect place to soak in some afternoon sun. Our condo is convenient, basic, and affordable, everything you need for a perfect Aspen getaway. Come join us, we can't wait to have you! What to be aware of: This property is located on the second floor of a building on a hill, there is no elevator and no ADA access. Being nearly on the mountain we do have wildlife including bears, so please be careful with your trash! What You'll Love: - COVID safe, private entrance and a fresh remodel! - Perfect location - 2 blocks from 1A (COVID safe outdoor base lift, 1 block to summer trails.- Right in the mix of it all downtown, and just blocks from free busses to everywhere!Freshly remodeled this inviting 1br (sleeps four) is located right in the middle of it all! Koch Park, a world-renowned trail system, the ski lift, 100s of bars and restaurants and shops, and free busses to everywhere are all a few blocks away.Lift 1A is just two blocks out the front door, Gondola Plaza is just three blocks. This is a great property with very easy access to town and Aspen Mountain. There's also a bus stop 1/2 a block away for access to other locations in the Aspen/Snowmass area. Will definitely stay there again the next time I'm back in Aspen!

We had an amazing stay at this property. The condo was impeccably clean, the beds were comfortable, the views of the ski runs were stunning. A beautifully decorated condo that would be spacious enough for two families, as the layout gives good privacy and enough room for everyone to be comfortable. We did not want to leave this condo and would return without a doubt! Great communication with the listing company and everything was as described, if not better!! 10/10!!

This is the perfect place to stay if you're looking to enjoy the town of Aspen and easy access to skiing! We were a few blocks away from the bus station making it easy to ski any mountain and even easier to get home. We loved this spot and will absolutely stay here again.

The location of the condo is perfect. The unit was updated and by far the cleanest of any condo we’ve stayed in in Aspen. The property manager was very communicative and we would stay again in a heartbeat.

— Great location — bus stop around the corner or you can walk to the bus depot (3 1/2 blocks) to catch the free bus to Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk or Snowmass. Gondola and lift to ski at Aspen is just a couple of blocks beyond the bus stop.
— Easy walk to shops and restaurants.
— Grocery store is within walking distance (1/2 mile or 10ish minutes) but it also has a good size parking lot if you want to drive.
— Nicely outfitted kitchen with range, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and blender. Lots of dishes and glasses. Even had stemmed and stem-less wine glasses!!
— Bathroom is also very nice.
— Has cable TV which is not necessarily the case for many short-term rentals. Have found that it’s becoming common that you need to stream your own content.
— Bed and pillows were very comfortable
— Property manager, Skippy, was great to work with and could not have been more helpful and responsive!

Firstly, the magnager was responsive to all questions. The unit was very warm which was much appreciative. Lots of towels and linens available. I wanted to shift my dates to come and leave one day earlier but the manager wouldn't accomodate unless I paid for an extra day. Then when asked for a late check-out because our flight was at 3pm and it was snowing, I was told they would only accomodate a late check out for a 1/2 day fee because "someone might want to rent the place at the last minute and the owners would be out a day's rent" even though the request was made the day before and there was no one scheduled to come the day of check out. As a condo owner myself on vrbo, I bend over backwards to accomodate my guests when we can. I felt no attempt at flexibility to my requests. The manager did offer to store our luggage which was generous and in the end we put all our stuff in the ski locker at 10 and walked around for a few hours. When we came back to retrieve our things, the unit hadn't been cleaned yet. Anyhoo, though a great location (but no jacuzzi!), I wouldn't stay here again due to the inflexibility and what feels like greediness on the owners' part.

Our stay at this wonderful condo could not have been more perfect! The unit is modern and comfortable with every amenity you could ask for (washer/dryer, kitchen necessities, and even a humidifier)! The check-in and check-out process was remarkably easy and interactions with the management company always left me with a smile on my face. Having visited Aspen and the surrounding area a number of times, this centrally located condo is the place to stay in Aspen! Thank you SO much for having us--we miss it already!!
