This one-bedroom ground floor apartment is in the Ocotillo Lodge, the famous Mid Century Modern Palm Springs landmark known for its fabulous huge champagne cork shaped pool. The bedroom has a California king-size bed, and the living room has a leather couch , and a comfortable powered leather recliner. City of Palm Springs ID number 1457 The condo is designed for comfort and features a full kitchen , bathroom, living and dining room and private patio. After a day enjoying the many activities in Palm Springs, relax and enjoy a movie at home (blu ray or DVD) on one of the flat screen smart TVs. The apartment has floor to ceiling windows which showcase the outdoors with its beautiful mountain views. The kitchen has coffee maker, coffee grinder, toaster, kettle, blender, mixer, microwave, as well as a good selection of pots, pans, containers, glasses and dinnerware. The gorgeous bathroom has a stepless glass shower, with European rain shower and an extra hand held sprayer. Enjoy cooking outdoors? The private patio includes a propane barbeque. As well as the famous pool, The Ocotillo has two hot tubs/spas. The grounds are beautifully planted with desert vegetation and cactus, and the main clubhouse has a full gym and pool tables, as well as a lounge area with grand piano that looks out over the pool. Adjacent to the pool is a barbeque area with charcoal grills. Conveniently located walking distance from downtown, and just over a block from Ralph's supermarket,, with Elmer's restaurant just across the road, if you need to eat now!. Private 100Mb internet is included, and can be used wireless or wired. The Ocotillo Lodge is a non smoking facility. Good location and clean and all needed essentials

We were greeted by the owner’s property manager. He was very helpful. The unit was well equipped. Bathroom was recently remodeled and very nice. We had a plumbing leak just outside the unit on the patio, couldn’t get fixed for 2 weeks, so the patio was soaked, started coming under the windows in the bedroom. PS it was a hot water leak! Takes forever to get hot water, so had to waste water.. it’s the desert! Electrical problems, so we had to move the fridge where an outlet had power. Owner told us just prior to our stay that there would be minor construction to “replace a beam”.. It was construction zone central, unbelievably noisy for 2+weeks. They had to replace the entire concrete deck above our unit. The patio windows don’t seal well and directly face the highway, so very loud traffic noise! We thought early on we would wish to stay here again, but that was only because the pool area and the people were great! We had no idea what was in store for us over the 10 week stay. All the amenities were shut down, fitness area, common room due to toxic hazards. They say “iconic mid-century modernism”.. we call it old and in dire need of many repairs. We will winter in beautiful PS again, but not here.

This was the perfect little spot for my daughter and I to stay for her swim meet. We were able to cook in the morning before the meet. Only a 6 minute drive to the pool.

I’ve stayed here multiple times and Andy has always been great with communication and keeps a very clean place. Comes with all the amenities we needed for our stay. Check in and parking was a breeze. We can’t wait to come back in the spring.

The apartment was not as shown in the photos but it was well equipped for all that is needed re the kitchen etc.
We give it 3 stars for cleanliness due to the Garden area had not been cleaned and the garden furniture was dirty and we to clean it to enable us to sit out there also needed a good overall sweep up. apart from that issue the apartment and pool area was nice for a holiday just a pity we could not use the gym as it was closed due to a Roof problem. Ric was very polite and helpful.

The property was exactly as advertised, clean, comfortable, well equipped and located. Check in was quick and efficient. I appreciated the provision of all basic items such as tea, coffeee, sugar, salt pepper etc, bathroom items such as shampoo and shower gel. Air conditioning was very efficient, a big plus in Palm Springs.
Only minor observation was that the traffic from East Palm Highway could be a little noisy.

Communication with Andy and Ricardo was easy and pleasant. I would recommend Ocotillo Lodge for a stay in Palm Springs.

It was our first time staying at Ocotillo Lodge, and it was very comfortable. I use a CPAP machine, so I an extension cord from the middle of the bed room would have been a good thing as there were no outlets near the bed stand. Unfortunately, we were not able to use the Jacuzzi, but we are looking forward to the next time that we come where it will be warm enough to take it vantage of the pool and the Jacuzzi. Thanks for a great day.

I had a wonderful stay in Palm Springs for Christmas week.
Lots to see and do in town and short walking hikes nearby were amazing. Th apt was clean and very comfortable and close by to downtown and nearby hiking trails.

Stagecoach Stay
Stayed here for the weekend of Stagecoach. The property was very orderly and the stay was comfortable. The owner was very accommodating in changing the dates of our stay more than once due to Covid. We would definitely stay here again.

Short visit to Palm Springs
We enjoyed our stay at the Ocotillo Lodge. Accommodations were comfortable and well-appointed. Elmer's Diner being across the street was very handy and the food was excellent. Very close to downtown and every needed store.

Excellent Property
Clean, quiet, friendly guests. Have stayed here a few times and will stay again. Close to downtown, shopping, food and coffee.

This property has great potential, but is a bit "tired". It appears that little has been done to maintain the condo in quite a while - old vertical blinds that don't open and shut, dark grout, and a shower door that does not stay shut to name a few. In general the place had been cleaned. The frig was in good shape but there was crud by the side of the stove and a dead cockroach under the bathroom sink. Supplies such as towels and bedding were very good and plentiful. The heater in the pool was out of order most of the time we were there (no fault of the condo owner) but was fixed before we left. We did not use it but it looked wonderful. The hot tub, however, was great! The location was easy to get to although not really within walking distance of downtown. This did not present a problem for us though as the city of Palm Springs provides quite a bit of free parking.

Love this place . Im working on my bucket list and dont want to stay anywhere twice but am so tempted to go again. The only thing that I would like to comment on was i believe the decor on the patio has missed its mark. There is so much potential just planting cactus in the flower bed would help set it off.

Overall a good property
Great property (pool), great location. Easy to walk to bars and restaurants. The unit itself could use some updates--doesn't feel like a "palm springs vibe", but is fine for if you're only going to sleep there. The road noise at night however, is REALLY loud. It sounded like a window was open all night, but it wasn't. Bring earplugs. Overall, I would stay at this property again, but might prefer a different unit for Palm Springs vibe and quieter (better) night sleep.

Kitchen fully equipped, tons of cleaning products, toiletries, blankets, etc. the bedroom has a big closest and full dresser. Super comfortable bed, double vanities in the bathroom and lots of towels for the bathroom and pool. Huge patio that gets the perfect amount of sunshine and much needed shade in the summer. Twin Palms/Deep Well is the premier location to be in Palm Springs. The condo is steps away from the pool, jacuzzi and laundry. All the neighbors I met who are owners of other condominiums, were totally nice and friendly. If the sliding doors are shut the street noise is really minimal. Palm Springs shuts down by 10/10:30 pm. I was never once kept awake or woken up from street noise. Andy is super nice, easy to deal with and very responsive. Again I had a great stay and highly recommend his condo.

Lovely spot
The unit we stayed in was clean and bright, and the property was lovely. One word of caution is that the unit is close to a busy street, so there is some traffic noise. It didn't bother us at all, though; we slept soundly and came home thoroughly relaxed.

Beautiful Pool + Convenient Location
This unit is close to downtown without being right in the middle of everything. Easy parking, easy check in and beautiful pool area! The only negative is that the cute little outdoor area attached to the unit is right on the parking lot/main road. We did wake up one night to a domestic dispute in the parking lot and had to navigate through some sketchy folks when walking from our car one evening. The gated area was very secure though and we did not have any trouble feeling safe inside the complex.

Ocotillo Losge is always a favorite and this one bedroom is the perfect accommodation. Clean, comfortable, with nice amenities.

We enjoyed our stay here. It does have its drawbacks - mainly traffic noise. Also, the property could use a little more upkeep. But the noise didn't bother us that much and the place was clean and cool. The furniture was comfortable. Ric (the property manager) was punctual and friendly. The pool and jacuzzi were nice. There are good restaurants nearby. And the price was fair. So we recommend it.
