The location was great to reach all sites in Belem, take public transportation to the city center of Lisbon and Cascais. The room was tidy and had everything I needed, an iron was also provided upon request. The host was very responsive and helped with everything I asked for, e.g. later check-out.

Location and bed comfort
Facilities and lack of responsiveness, we were booked for 10 days and no cleaning service was provided during that time.

It's a decent value for the money. The staff are the wait staff of the restaurant. They tried hard to be helpful. The room is 2-3 stories up by stairs. The AC was not fully up to the task of the European heatwave. It was not warm, but it was not cool either. So it was safe, but it was not highly comfortable from a temperature perspective. The room was very clean, but there was no room service provided during my stay. That's not a terrible thing, but you should not expect to have your bed made for you or your linens changed.
The location cannot be beat. It's almost across the street from the Monastario do Sao Jeronimo and maybe 4 blocks from the train station. Belem is an extremely pleasant town. The hotel faces a large stretch of park and is in the midst of multiple excellent museums. The area seemed very safe. A lovely place to stay and a good value for the price.
The room temperature could have been cooler.
