If you are looking to keep your car locked up for the duration of your stay, walk or ride your bike to everything, then this property is waiting for you.. this is Urban/Resort living at its finest! The south end of the Downtown area is only 3 blocks, Sunny Dunes Antique Mall 3 blocks, Coffee houses, Restaurants, Retro Bars all within walking distance... This renovated open concept home was built in 1936 remodeled and consistently updated, nothing overlooked!!. Front and rear patios bring a stunning quartz stone; poolside is impeccably done with the same stone along with a waterfall to bring that tranquil setting. The Primary Suite is 24’ x 19’, overlooking the pool & spa surrounded by French doors on three sides. Custom fireplace wall finishes imported from Nepal and Argentina, the tile in the Owner's Suite is imported from Spain, bringing out the intense beauty of this home. Custom furnishings were hand picked or custom made for this property, nothing was overlooked to bring out a combination of Old World/Spanish/Modern Industrial feel throughout the entire property. Why settle for a 1 bedroom condo, vacationers on the left, right, below, above, sharing a crowded pool, and driving to downtown Palm Springs, why book a home larger than you need... this home has all the privacy, amenities, conveniences and more. **I welcome long term renters (4 month max). 28+ days are tax exempt. If your quote shows taxes in the quote total, the taxes will be omitted after booking. Pool/Spa heat are not included in the total. Optional fees apply. Rates are from $55 - $85 per night depending on gas rate increases from October-April. Spa on its own $25-$30 per night.

We stayed 11 nights at Jym’s amazing home and enjoyed every minute of it! We celebrated Christmas and my husband’s 50th birthday.
The home is CLEAN, beautifully decorated and well stocked!
The bed was so comfortable!
The privacy is unmatched- we enjoyed our time by relaxing in the spa, drinking champagne and binging Netflix!

Great location- easy walk to downtown Palm Springs for all the shops and restaurants. 2 minute walk to Townie Bagels for coffee and breakfast. Jym was very nice and helpful- did not need to call him after the initial check in. Beautiful house - very quiet area

The photos simply do not do this place justice. It's hard to exceed expectations on a 5 star property, but Casa Zahara managed to do just that. It was everything we needed, perfect location, excellent amenities, quiet and private, luxurious. Felt like a slice of paradise. Jym is a wonderful host.

The house was above and beyond beautiful and very functional!! It had everything you needed for a get away for 2!! Jym was also very nice and one of the best hosts ever! We will always stay here if we can when visiting Palm Springs! Thank you Jym for the opportunity!!

Everything was as advertised. The house was a wonderful oasis on the edge of the strip. Hiking, biking, restaurants, night life all with a private Shangri-La waiting when I needed some down time. Jut book before someone else does.

Everything the other reviews mention about this sweet, peaceful retreat is true. It is private, quiet, and relaxing. It is walking distance to downtown, and all that you need. Renting beach cruisers from BIKE PS allowed us to start our day with a ride thru the adjacent neighborhoods of post modern ranches and spanish architecture. The day pass at Aqua Caliente's "The Spa at Sec-he" was incredible and included use of all saunas, zero gravity rooms, mineral baths, salt baths, jacuzzi's, and an amazing outdoor mineral swimming pool. What a great stay. We highly recommend this special slice of heaven, and are so grateful to Jym.

Very clean and nice place to stay. Close to the main drag, but the trees all around the house make you feel secluded and not like you are right in town. Very relaxing and quiet. Everything went smooth. Highly recommend staying here over staying at a hotel around the area. Jym is cool and easy going.

Loved everything. Perfect location. Very quiet and private. Jym is an amazing host. The house is impeccably maintained, clean and is well stocked. Enjoyed the pool and spa and opted for heating both. The location is about 7 minutes from the airport and closer to many restaurants and shopping. We will definitely stay their again.

This house is exactly as advertised! It is a lovely property, quiet, secluded and restful. The pool and hot tub are sublime. Be sure to look for the hidden shamrock as the sun comes up! But the real gem in this one is the host. Jym was responsive, accommodating, knowledgable and so willing to make our stay as comfortable and happy as possible. I can't say enough great things about the experience--from restaurant and grocery store recommendations to golf course and hiking suggestions. He was so helpful--and that started from the day of our booking. Lovely!

Jym met us at the home and provided us with all the knowledge needed for a first class vacation. Location was central to everything. The living, dining, kitchen, bedroom and bath were spacious and efficient. The walled yard was perfect and the pool and spa were amazing. The shower was large, powerful and hot! It was a perfect spot for a vacation to Palm Springs!

We had booked a trip to Palm Springs for relaxation and get away from our winter. Casa Zahara was everything we could have hoped for. The house is absolutely beautiful and well appointed. The pool and spa area were also incredibly beautiful and very private which is what we were looking for. There is no question that this property deserves a 5 star rating.
Jym, the owner, was extremely helpful with recommendations for restaurants/activities and very prompt to respond to any questions we had. It was so nice to be able to personally meet him on arrival.
I think the best part of our holiday was being able to come home to this beautiful accommodation after being out and exploring the Palm Springs area. We will definitely be back and so look forward to be able to stay at Casa Zahara again!!!

Jym was easy to deal with and gave us lots of info on where to go, shop, and eat. House was clean and comfortable. The pool was very relaxing and the jacuzzi was an awesome spot to hang out and enjoy the January cool desert nights. I would definitely stay here again. Close to downtown and all of the sights. Lots of great restaurants nearby.

We loved our stay at Jym's! This is a very nice bungalow, comfortable and completely private- privacy fence and tall shrubbery. We could let our dog roam the xeriscaped yard/patio freely, and it was nice to have total privacy for the pool and hot tub. Nice neighborhood for walking the dog too though there is not much grass anywhere nearby .
This place was the perfect size for two adults working remotely. Very comfortable, all nice modern appliances, very clean. Walking distance to downtown Palm Springs (we could walk to the center of town near the Art Museum in about 10 minutes). Jym was an excellent and helpful host.

This is a beautiful property. The house is cozy and inviting and it has a lovely, private yard. Everything is better than the pictures. Our stay was so relaxing that I didn’t want to leave.
We had one issue with the internet during our stay. The owner responded immediately and it was fixed in 10 minutes.
Overall a great experience and we won’t hesitate to stay again on our next visit to PS.

The house is centrally located and very close to many restaurants on Palm Canyon dr. so we were able to walk to dinner at night. Hot tub is lovely. Rooms are spacious.
Note that the bathroom sink is a vessel above a standard countertop height vanity. Very difficult to use if you are under 6 feet tall.

Everything about this bungalow was perfect. Our stay was the first 3 days of a two week vacation and we needed to unwind and relax. It was great. Time in the hot tub. Relaxing in the glow of the beautifully appointed space. We will be glad for a return visit! Oh, and our host? There to greet us and excellent communication.

Owner met us and introduced us to the house and all the features. He allowed an early entry. Clear instructions. Home is well furnished with all the necessities. We cooked in about half the time and went to restaurants the rest. We felt secure and loved the location close to downtown. The highlight is the private pool, which we paid to heat to 85 degrees. We enjoyed the outside area and spent much time near the pool. We spent the week celebrating our 53rd wedding anniversary and had day visits from our son and daughter-in-law. Plenty of area and equipment to entertain another couple. We will be going back.

Recommend Walmart for grocery shopping. Not far from property and has all you need. Perfect property for just relaxing and enjoying the pool or getting out on the town. Can we give 10 stars? We cannot wait to visit Casa Zahara again as soon as possible. My husband and I spent 5 days in this property as a respite to celebrate our 26th anniversary. We had planned to sight see and eat out more than we did but never wanted to leave the private pool and spa. We floated, played cards and talked for hours. The shower having access directly to the pool was a bonus. We were wanting for nothing as every aspect of this home was thought through and well appointed. We cooked in most nights, had all the comforts of home and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed a 10 min walk to the street fair and enjoying shopping and dinner while there. Jym met us in the home as we arrived to show us all the ins and outs which we really appreciated. We will definitely be back hopefully sooner than later.

Beautiful & Private Getaway
This home is beautiful in every way. As you enter the private gated driveway, you feel how special this home really is! The entire premises is beautifully maintained with trees surrounding the perimeter for an immediate feeling of privacy. The home is tastefully decorated and every dedicated space is warm and inviting, from the living room, the dinning room, reading room, to the bedroom. Access to the shower from the pool area was awesome. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with all essentials. The pool/spa area was like being in an oasis. Owner and host Jym was so welcoming and easygoing.
