Situated in Michigan City, this attractive house for $323 per night is a great option for your next break. While staying at Señor Mariposa the fun does not have to stop when you decide to head home from the beach, pool or park. There is so much to enjoy in this modern home, for starters the fully equipped kitchen that opens to the living and dining rooms. It offers ample space to gather together. The living room offers a couch, love seat, and rocker recliner with a big screen TV. The lower level also features a second family room complete with pool table, large sectional that also converts for additional queen size sleeping space, and 2 TVs on opposite sides of the room. OUTDOOR GATHERING SPACE Open the doors and step onto the patio where you can walk out to the edges of Lake Kai to the fire pit or relax and enjoy some you time. Both the main level and lower-level outdoor spaces face Lake Kai for amazing views and are furnished with outdoor tables and chairs. Close enough to the resort Activity Center, you are easily first in line! It’s your vacation, we are here to ensure you enjoy it. RESORT AMENITIES AND INFO * indicates a seasonal amenity. 4ft heated pool*, toddler pool, basketball court*, tennis court, bocce ball court, shuffleboard, Sandcastle playground, putting green, paddle boarding and kayaking*, catch and release fishing. Parking Passes ($5 each) and Wristbands ($15 each) are required for all guests ages 4 and up mid-May through September. Our favorite part was the little private beach we had with the fire pit! I would definitely recomend this house to others. We loved how secluded it was! We plan to rent this house again next year!

We love Lake Michigan and have stayed in several houses in this neighborhood. Great place. Enough space for our family of 6 but not so big that teenagers can hide from family, board-game night... Very clean and organized. Owners spent a lot of time labeling kitchen tool locations, light-switch functions, etc. Definitely recommend.

Great family vacation! Everything went very smoothly. The house was beautiful. The kids loved playing in the sand and fishing and kayaking on the lake. Spent the evening around the bonfire roasting hotdogs and marshmallows . We all had a great time!

Perfect property for our family of 4! The house is beautifully decorated, pictures don't do it justice. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Beds were extremely comfortable. Loved riding the golf cart around the property. The beach on Lake Kai was right out the back door and home includes lots of water toys. Can't wait to come back next summer!

Great home and location on Lake Kai. Home is very well organized and with fully stocked kitchen. I appreciated all the amenities. We booked for next year, we liked it so much. The only odd thing, is there are not lamps on any of the night stands in the 3 bedrooms.

Had a lovely time finally getting to vacation with my brother's family after not seeing them for over a year and a half. We loved the location, which allowed us to fish from the backyard. We felt a little more secluded in our spot on Lake Kai, which was great, and that was due to the vegetation on either side of the house as well as our location. So peaceful.
The owners have a kayak, which we used daily. There are plenty more to borrow a couple of doors down, but we liked having our own. The on-site paddleboard could be newer--even though we emptied all water from it, it seemed to not float well for paddleboarding, so we didn't really use it.
Management was great. When we arrived we'd realized the golf cart key didn't work (there was a mixup)--and even though it was after normal business hours, someone came within ten minutes to give us the right key. Really pleased with that.
Overall loved the location, and the entire house was nicely equipped and decorated in such a pleasing way. We're definitely planning to come back again for a longer stay. Such a perfect getaway.

Our group of 6 had an incredible weekend here! The property is immaculate. The layout is so perfect for groups or families. Each of us were able to sleep in our own bed. There were plenty of bathrooms for us to all be showered and getting ready. The outdoor area was SO wonderful! Even with the chilly, windy weather, we had so much fun sitting around the fire. A couple of our more adventurous girls even took advantage of the kayak and paddleboard! The neighborhood is adorable and the golf cart was handy for exploring. We had absolutely no issues during our stay...except for a rogue shoe that the property manager kindly shipped back to us! There is already talk of making this an annual visit.

Fully equipped and more, new and extremely clean, lots of bathrooms and tv's. Best of all was the location with beautiful views and easy access to the hike around Lake Kai to the Lake Michigan beaches. Nice kitchen and the great room was big enough for our family. We did have to watch the grandchildren near the stairs to the lower level, but they loved finding toys and books in the cupboards and playing at the Beachwalk playground. People in the community were friendly and it was fairly quiet for Mother's Day weekend.

The place was very clean and had everything we needed. The house had a beautiful view of the lake with a really nice fire pit. The kids enjoyed the paddle board and kayak. The golf cart made it nice to get around the resort. Enjoyed the volleyball courts with the family as well.

Location is perfect, the house is absolutely stocked with everything you need. The golf cart was an added bonus which the kids loved. I cant think of anything we would have changed. Only issue we had was with WiFi being out which was remedied within a day.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Senor Mariposa. Great spotless, well maintained new home with a great stocked kitchen and very nice grill on the deck. Home also comes with great toys that include pool table, paddle board, kayak, wagon and golf cart. Home is located with home on each side, but is definitely more private than many of the rentals in this area. Nice master suite on each of the upper and lower floors makes great stay for two or more families. Upper deck overlooking the water was wonderful for relaxing and lower deck opening to fire ring, small private beach and access to the water was an excellent place was for play. We looked around while in the area and hope to return to Senor Mariposa next time.

This property was perfect for a relaxing girls weekend. It slept 10 of us comfortably. There's enough space fore everyone. it was peaceful location, also great to walk/run/golf cart around the neighboring properties
