Half a block from the beach and a short walk to mouthwatering dining options and unique shopping destinations, you won't have to go far to dive into the local attractions. Bright and cheery, you'll be welcomed in by a bright interior and plenty of room to relax. Lounge on the couch and enjoy cable flatscreen TV or watch your favorite DVD. You can take a refreshing dip in the shared pool while the private washer/dryer does the laundry. Connect to the WiFi to find the perfect recipe to bring to life in the fully equipped kitchen (minus a dishwasher). And with both a kitchen table and a breakfast bar, you'll have plenty of spots to enjoy a meal. Boasting two bedrooms and two bathrooms, this home can easily play host to up to six guests. The bedrooms have a king and a queen, plus you'll also have a queen-size sleeper sofa. Make the quick walk to the beach to stake your claim to a sandy slice of paradise. Kick back under an umbrella or get out on the waves with a stand-up paddleboard or kayak. As part of your fun-filled day, take everyone over to Schlitterbahn Beach Waterpark for a fun-filled day of water-inspired fun. No matter what time of year your vacation is, this South Padre Island home gives you the chance to unwind and relax in comfort. Please note: This home also maintains a strict no party policy. We’re excited to inform you that this unit utilizes a comfortable style of bed-making known as Triple Sheeting. Triple Sheeting is proven to be more hygienic and is used by five-star hotels around the world. It consists of a fitted sheet, a flat sheet, a blanket, and finally a decorative top sheet. Due to this change, the pictures for this home may not accurately represent the bedding that will appear during your stay. This has not affected any other amenities or the amount of beds available. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. From a visual standpoint, the property was very good. It was not indicated in the advertisement that this was an upstairs condo. The cleanliness of the unit was very good and ready for us when we arrived. I had requested early check-in, and did not receive acknowledgment until one hour before normal check in. I was disappointed that there were no normal condiments in the unit, such as coffee, salt and pepper, sugar, and a few spices. None of this was available. There were also no hairdryers and the towels were minimal.
The bedding was light and it would have been nice to have a light blanket in the closet. The overall description in the app was not very informative.

The VRBO was clean, bright, tons of lighting. We really appreciated the pool for our small kiddos and having a washer and dryer was a huge plus. The kitchen was perfect and had everything we needed. I would def stay here again. So close to the beach, we walked 2 blocks and were there.

It was a great stay and very spacious, the neighborhood isn’t all that great. Some of my complaints are that most dishes were dirty and the TV is difficult to work. As side from that, it’s affordable and a walkable distance from the beach.

We meet lots of wonderful people, who will be our friends for a long time. Love the convenience to all the stores and restaurants. People are very friendly and the Island is very clean. The only thing about the condo the ceiling fans could use a cleaning, but we will be back

The microwave was dirty. The 2 pillows in the 2nd bedroom were flat and need to be replaced. The ceiling fans were ALL dirty. The closet that the a/c unit was in needs to be vacuumed out (the shutters on the door). There was tanning oil or something on the wall. The stain is still on the patio door curtain. Your furniture on the back deck is nasty and old, might consider replacing.
The A/C worked very well. Might want to consider extra blankets.

The location is so amazing, the place was very clean and organized, and there was a lot of kitchen appliances for us to make our thanksgiving meal. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Rain Dancer Condominiums was Awesome. The room had everything we needed, bed's were comfortable and it was clean. The sliding door was a bit hard to lock. We thought at first it didn't lock because it was unlocked when we got there, and tried to lock it a few times, but a hard push and turning the lock the door will lock. The stairs are a great big work out if you are on the top floor. The pool had it's own ups and downs; the seating area was fine, and the size of the pool was also nice, but the water was warm which my daughter's had no problem with, and the trash was spilled over onto the ground. Quick walk to the beach with access to showers and in door restrooms, which other beach access' had maybe a port o pottie or not even that. Last but not least, we forgot a bag in the room which had a c-pap machine in it, and we called the next day after leaving to notify the vacasa support about it, they said they left a message for the housekeeper's and they would call me if they found it, but that the room was already occupied as well. I called the day after that and they charged me $25 processing fee to be able to go look for the item we left, and still on the 3rd day after leaving the place no one has called me with any information about the item we left.
