About this house rental

Nestled in Vancouver, this lovely house for $186 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Located in the hills of Point Grey, our house has the most amazing view of the city from balconies and especially roof deck! We custom built this house from the ground up and we've made sure to squeeze in as many windows and balconies as possible to take advantage of view. Both bedrooms in laneway have a full size balcony for our guests to enjoy the Vancouver sights. Guests can enjoy the amazing views from the laneway house’s private roof deck and watch firework events, on New Year’s Eve, Canada Day (July 1st), and Halloween (October 31st), as well as the summer for the annual Celebration of Lights international fireworks competition (for the schedule, please refer to the Celebration of Lights website). Both bedrooms are upstairs on the second floor along with a full bathroom. One bedroom contains a queen size bed (can fit up to 2 guests) and the other bedroom has 1 double bed (can fit up to 2 guests) and 1 single bed (for 1 guest). The living room is also furnished with a convertible queen size sofa (can fit up to 2 guests). The powder room (half bathroom) and fully equipped kitchen (includes dishwasher!) are on the main floor. Guests will have access to the entire laneway house including washer and dryer unit in the back. Sorry it's a brand new house so strictly no pets and no smoking. We also offer cars available to rent. We have a 2022 Tesla Model 3 sedan and a 2019 Ram 1500 pickup truck available to rent. Enjoy a 10% discount on car rental if combined with airbnb booking. Please contact us if you are interested in bundling a car and accommodation rental. Base rates for 5 guests are as follows: April-August: $350/night(check out special discount offers) September-March: $250/night For each additional guest, add $35 per person, per night. Point Grey is home to the University of British Columbia. Our place is only 10-block walk away from the lovely beaches of Jericho and Kitsilano. We are also minutes away from the lively neighborhoods of West Broadway and Kits' 4th Avenue. West Broadway is home to Greektown and 4th Avenue is just one of the trendiest neighborhoods in the city! Tons of good eats around ;) We are located near the #9 or #99 B-line bus stops (on Broadway), #33, #25 and #7 bus stops. From here, it is a 5 minute bus ride to UBC and it takes about 30 minutes to transit downtown via #99 B-line bus and Canada Line Skytrain (@ Broadway-City Hall Station on Broadway and Cambie).

Our son got married at Sage catering at UBC. We, his parents, and his sister and her partner, came from Victoria and stayed here. The location was excellent, it was quiet, and there were enough bathrooms and mirrors to allow everyone to get ready. A very pleasant stay.

The house is about 5 km from downtown in a very quiet neighbourhood with lovely tree-lined streets. The view from the rooftop deck is spectacular. There is a very good Italian restaurant about 3 blocks away on Dunbar Street.

I always weigh being in a hotel downtown to being slightly outside the hubbub in a comfortable home . This home did not disappoint. The owners were so friendly and welcoming. The kitchen had the right equipment from pots and pans to cutlery to prepare any meal . The location is very laid back and quiet in a safe neighborhood but so close to fantastic restaurants within walking distance- which we did every night. The beds were very comfortable! It was so nice to be able to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view.

Excellent residential location, close to transit, stores and restaurants. Close (walking distance) to beaches. Well-stocked kitchen with comfortable beds. Note property is on a fairly steep hill...important to know if anyone has mobility issues. But the hill also yields great views from roof/balcony 🙂.

We flew into Vancouver in the midst of an epic winter storm. We were several hours late arriving, but checkin was still seamless. Beds were comfortable and warm. Kitchen had everything we needed. The walkways were cleared the next day allowing us easier access. The place was great for our getaway!

We enjoyed our stay but were not there a lot. It's well maintained and clean - could use some new frying pans. We did ask for and were promised fragrance-free linens and towels but still found that the fragrance was strong. Beyond that we had no complaints. It was nice to have our own building. There is a garage in the building but it was not used.

We came to Vancouver from Utah in the USA for a conference/vacation for 10 days. The home was charming -professionally built inside and out and was the perfect size for our group of 3 adults and 2 small children. The 1 1/2 bathrooms was very appreciated, the shower water pressure was great and there was enough hot water for 3 consecutive showers/baths. The location was about 15 minutes drive from downtown Vancouver (1 hour walk), but I walked most days to my conference as it was such a lovely town. The owners were very helpful and prompt. The check-in and check-out were simple and efficient. We loved having the laundry machines on-site and the quiet neighborhood with more-than-enough parking within 45 feet of the location. The price was very reasonable (even if it weren't in Canadian dollars) and we hope to stay there again next time I have a conference up in Vancouver. Vancouver is very family friendly, nature friendly, and travel friendly by public transit, walking, or driving as far as we could tell. Our only complain was that the silverware took a bit of a hunt in the kitchen to find the first day (drawer by the fridge). But that is really too small to even be a complaint. We loved our stay!
