For a first time solo traveller, this place is good value. The facilities are clean. Staff are helpful. The location is very near Uneo station so there's no need to worry about transport.

The location is excellent, close to the Ginza line and Ueno station. The room was great, they had the type of bed you can put your luggage under, which is a huge space saver. The room was clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable.
Also check the neighboring diner (Bibibi) for some fresh local dishes at a cool Otaku themed place :)
The air conditioning is a bit loud when you turn it on, but will be quieter eventually after it has been running for some time.

The hotel was clean, in a great location and staff were always friendly and helpful. Rooms were small but comfortable.
