Situated in Santa Barbara, this lovely house for $458 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Experience the quintessential Santa Barbara neighborhood. The house was built in 1930, and has been extensively remodeled including the bathrooms and the kitchen. The living room is comfortable and well appointed as well as featuring a 70" diagonal Sony TV, surround sound, Basic Cable, Amazon Fire Stick, Netflix, HBO Max, Amazon Prime Video, Showtime, Hulu, and a BluRay/DVD player. There is Eeros Mesh enhanced WiFi and it's reliable and fast. All 3 bedrooms are large, airy, and full of light. The bedroom with the en-suite bath has a 43" Sony TV which has all the streaming channels, but no Basic Cable channels. The kitchen is new with stainless appliances and granite tops. The Sunroom connected to the kitchen is the place to hang out with it's French doors (3) and 4 large windows. Off the Sunroom is a redwood deck w/ umbrella, and a comfortable and colorful patio with seating and umbrellas. The living room has a gas log fireplace, as well as a new dramatic mantel, hearth & surround. The places to walk to are pretty impressive and include 2 grocery stores, a Trader Joe's, 3 sushi bars, 3 Italian places, several Mexican places, a couple of new California Cuisine excellent eateries, a CVS, 4 (at least) nail salons, bookstore ( printed books), Santa Barbara Municipal Golf Course, 3 breakfast places, a couple of bakeries, several bars, 2 Thai restaurants, 3 pizza joints, 2 dry cleaners, a Starbucks, gas stations, liquor stores, convenience stores, on and on....ALL of this a few blocks from our quiet neighborhood. My wife and I have a small and separate cottage at the rear of the property, that we stay in while you are our guests in the main house. We occupy the carport which is attached to our unit, and far back patio as well. Access to the detached laundry is provided. We use the driveway to access our unit and carport. Street parking in front of the house is readily available.

It was very nice to have the host Rodney greet us when we arrived to show us around the house. The house was really charming. Unfortunately, since we had wedding events to attend throughout the day, we didn't get much of an opportunity to enjoy the house as much as we would have liked. The beds were really comfortable, and that was the most important thing for us.

We were visiting to attend a family wedding. The house is very comfortable with everything you’ll need. Close to stores, restaurants, beach, downtown. The street is quiet and tree lined. Parking couldn’t be easier. Rodney was always available if we had a question or needed something. We will definitely return on our next trip.

We had the best time here! Great neighborhood which was close to many things (Starbucks, CVS, Trader Joes etc.), house was clean and has all the amenities listed. Our host Rodney was kind and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. Perfect place to stay for our best friend's wedding weekend. It felt so cozy and right at home. Highly recommend!

The house is lovely, well kept, very clean and quite homey... All the amenities are there and and it has a beautiful neighborhood in which to stroll around. Rodney met us when we checked and was very nice. The home feels very private and our stay was quite restful (and a much needed serene space to come home to during a wedding weekend!). Highly recommended by our family!

We absolutely loved this property and home. The neighborhood was quiet. Close to everything we needed and shopping. The owners offered a very welcoming atmosphere. Owners were very communicative with any questions we had, we will definitely come back again.

This was a perfect place to stay for my daughter’s UCSB graduation. Beautiful house and neighborhood. Very clean and it had all the amenities you would want. Rodney even supplied the coffee! Thank you! We love the SB area so even though our daughter has graduated, we definitely will be back!

We stayed here with a group of friends and we were SO impressed! The neighborhood is just as beautiful as the home is. The location is unbeatable and is so close to restaurants, shopping, groceries, etc. Rodney was a wonderful host as well! Unlike other homes where it feels so minimal that it’s hard to feel comfortable or “at home”, Rodney’s home is a welcoming and comfortable feel with so many personal touches. Incredibly clean and wonderful amenities, I would recommend any group to stay here!

This is a lovely home with an amazing, well stocked kitchen and great amenities (TV, streaming, wifi, etc.) The owner, Rodney was extremely helpful and an excellent communicator! My only cautionary note is that while this has has a "no pets" policy, the owners do have a dog and when not rented, the VRBO property is occupied by the owners and their dog. Except for a slight "pet smell" you wouldn't notice that a dog lives there, unless you are allergic, which I am. Otherwise an excellent choice for your Santa Barbara stay!!

We visited Rodney’s house while we had wedding events all weekend. We also had our 15 month old with us who had specific nap times - and Rodney was so generous and flexible with check in and check out so we could get her naps in. He was friendly, helpful, and the house was so well stocked with everything we needed. We loved walking the neighborhood with our toddler and spending time out on the front lawn and back patio. We hope to visit again soon!

Spacious 3br house in quiet neighborhood. Easy to get downtown. Rodney easy to work with and well worth his intro to the amenities. Stayed for family wedding and worked well with pleanty of space shared by 5 adults. Fully equiped kitchen if needed. Comfortable beds forfull night's sleep.

Wonderful stay! The property was an absolute delight. It was well managed, well maintained, and beautiful inside and out. This property easily accommodates three couples. Although we were two couples and one other single adult. There was plenty of room for everyone to enjoy togetherness as well as space for alone time We Would definitely come back when we’re in Santa Barbara again.

My family (my husband, son/wife/baby and daughter/husband) needed a place to stay over a long weekend for our niece’s wedding. This house was perfect! Such a lovely, quiet neighborhood, walking distance to everything fun in DB and. Dry close to wedding. We loved mornings and evenings where our kids and their spouses caught up and we enjoyed our granddaughter. House has everything we needed. I will say that having owners on property was not something we sought. But Rodney’s friend was friendly and helpful nonexistent for us. Thank you for sharing your house with us!

Our family stayed here for our twins’ graduation from UCSB. We are Italian, so we were more than impressed with the amount of kitchen and cooking utensils. There is everything you need to bake, cook, and prep. This is a safe neighborhood and the people living there are a delight! Excellent communication with the owner and his assistant. This is a beautiful and historic home with many cool additions. All furniture is comfortable, and the library was a welcome sight. A few notes for people who may stay here: you won’t have access to the driveway as there are cars coming and going throughout the day, but there is a decent amount of street parking. You have to ask for A/C units to be connected- there are fans though. Also there are some rules, but they are common sense - just be a good guest and treat it like your home. Finally, there are plenty of cleaning materials, and if you are a coffee person, there is a French press, grinder, Keurig, and pods. Suggestions for the owners: stemless wine glasses, and larger drinking glasses, and mugs would be an added comfort. Also, laundry access is desired. Thanks Rodney for a great stay.
