About this house rental
Located in Asheville, this charming house for $327 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. After a day in town, visiting the Biltmore, breweries, shopping or out on the trail, get comfortable and spread out in our clean, spacious home. Watch the 35-mile sunset view from one of your private decks. At night when you return from the Asheville restaurant and music scene, look out over the twinkling city lights! We’re located up a good paved road just four minutes from a Blue Ridge Parkway exit, eight minutes from the Biltmore entrance, and eight minutes straight up I-240 to the town center, we’re as convenient a mountain top as you’ll find anywhere. It will take you longer to park downtown than it does to drive there. With 3,300 square feet we offer generous spaces for gathering with your friends or family. The driveway is flat with plenty of parking. All three mountain-facing bedrooms have King Beds, each has its own Full Bathroom, and each one has its own Deck or Stone Patio facing the sunset side. The three Kings provide full comfort for six. A full size Futon and a full size Sleeper Sofa are also in the house. For small children there are two Pack n’ Plays and a High Chair ready for them in the closet. Off the kitchen/dining side there is another large deck with a table, umbrella and chairs Gas Grill and Lounge Chairs. A second table and chairs are under a covered section also on the deck. Enjoy the morning sun with your coffee on the East deck. The fully equipped kitchen was recently updated with new cabinets, quartz counter tops, stainless appliances, a Drip as well as a Keurig Coffee Maker. We have 300mbs 5G free WIFI, Charter cable, Netflix, on the 55" Sony smart TV. The house has one Gas Fireplace in the dining area, and one Wood Fireplace with wood provided for a little romance or just some extra coziness in the lower family area. If you’re in the mood for some relaxation we’re located right next door to Shoji Japanese Spa. While we’re not part of the Spa it’s easy to book a wonderful Hot Tub or a Massage. Our family loved staying in this lovely home. The hosts were such gracious communicators, and the home was clean, organized, and just so cozy! Our three young children immediately felt at home, and as parents we had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms, etc. I would love to stay in this home again for a longer stay, and have already recommended it to family members. Margaret and Richard, thank you for sharing this special place, and thank you for all of the notes and special touches throughout the home. Your kindness is really felt through your home.

It is so pleasant to spend Christmas here with my family! The home is sweetly decorated for Christmas and so welcoming.
The home itself is a big plus, as is the scenery. I’m not sure how many pictures we took of sunrises and sunsets.
We did more cooking and eating in this time, made easy by the well-supplied kitchen and dining room.
Another big plus is the privacy. I love the location - close to all we need but still we feel like we are on a mountain-top alone!

Our group of 6 college friends, now in our 60s, stayed here for three nights. This place was perfect. One bedroom on the main floor, two downstairs. The stairs are wide and easily managed.
The views are gorgeous and the house is designed to see them from nearly every room! Waking up in any bedroom is a visual treat.
The bedrooms each have an easily accessible bathroom; the sitting areas are comfortable.
We cooked breakfast every morning in the most well-stocked kitchen I have ever seen!
This house is immaculate! Kudos to the cleaners.
We enjoyed our first evening on the gorgeous and comfortable deck enjoying the spectaular sunset.
The next morning we could hop quickly onto the Bluegrass Parkway for a hike.
We have already booked this for next year's gathering. Everyone wanted to return. We highly recommend!!

Everything about this property was wonderful. The view from 2,500 feet was spectacular. The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied with equipment and necessities. And the grill was clean! We expect to go back.

What a wonderful experience! The house was so spacious, well appointed with all the amenities we could have thought of, spotlessly clean, and so very comfortable. Richard and Margaret were wonderfully responsive hosts. They had provided nearly every detail we needed but responded almost immediately to our few questions. He was even patient and good-humored about my weakness with technology! The views from the large decks were just breathtaking. The location was excellent, not far from downtown but very rustic. I am a "research queen", so I am rarely surprised when arriving at a rental property. I kind of disregarded reviews that claimed this property was even better than pictured online. The pictures were pretty great. This property deserves over the five star review. It is not only perfectly located, perfectly laid out, perfectly decorated, it is perfectly stocked. Everything you could want is here. There is so much thoughtfulness. I can only say it would be as though you were staying at a relatives' house and they left it for you. The towels are wonderful as is the bedding. You want for nothing. It is efficiently close to EVERYTHING but with an isolated feel and a gorgeous view of those mountains that you came for. If it is available and you're going to Asheville, you'd better book it!

This place is great for medium to large groups with very spacious bedrooms and flex space areas to gather. The views off the back deck are great both at night and during the day. It's the best of both worlds being close to DT but still feeling private & secluded. All that's missing is a hot tub!

My husband and I met long time friends from AL to spend five days in Asheville. We couldn't have found a more perfect place to stay! Each bedroom has a king bed and it's own private bath. The hosts were very gracious and provided EVERTHING we could possibly have wanted or needed! The kitchen was very well equipped and large enough for several people to move around in it at one time. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms nicely appointed. The living area was large and very comfortable for all 6 of us to spend time together and look out at the beautiful view. I think this may be one of the very best mountain views in Asheville! The deck was perfect for watching sunsets and relaxing after a day of touring the town. We ate a lot of our meals out, but we cooked steaks on the very clean gas grill one night. The entire home was very clean and very comfortable. We will definitely spread the word about how nice this house is and we will be back to visit in the future!

What a fabulous place! We spent all of our free time on the deck overlooking the mountains. Everything was labeled and easy to use or find. Incredible cleanly and our Host Richard was incredibly accommodating. He allowed a party planner in early to decorate for our trip and everything turned out great! Would highly recommend!!!

This rental was perfect for me, my husband, and our 2 married children and their spouses. The cabin was very clean, the view was gorgeous, and accommodations were perfect for our short stay. We were less than 20 minutes from downtown, the Biltmore, Blue Ridge Parkway. Richard and Margaret left us fresh ground coffee and answered my messages very promptly. I would stay here again. One of the best hosts I've encountered, thank you

Great location with stunning sunset views. We were close to every attraction we wanted to do while staying in Asheville. The pictures of the property do not do justice. The house and balconies offered many nice touches and amenities. We definitely would recommend staying here.

We really enjoyed staying at this neat location in the mountains above Asheville. The views were beautiful and it was so peaceful, yet you are only a 12 minute drive to the city. The owners thought of everything when furnishing the place and providing all of the little extra details for visitors!

Especially clean, well kept and updated. I really couldn’t think of anything I would add. Super quiet area near the top of the mountain. The posted pictures do not do the view justice. All tourist attractions were close, I’m thinking within 20 to 30 minutes. I went on a guided fly fishing tour while there and it was a blast. Best value in Asheville, hands down.
