Situated in Columbia, this attractive bed and breakfast for $97 per night is a great option for your next break. You will feel right at home in our cozy Hatteras Hideaway! We are located less than 5 minutes away from Highway 63 and a 15 minute walk to grocery store. There is a children's playground only a few blocks away in our quiet neighborhood. We have spacious 9 foot ceilings and plenty of windows for a light and airy stay! You will enjoy over 1300 square feet of space in the complete lower level of our home with your very own entrance with a keypad. We do live upstairs, but keep our foot traffic and noise to a minimum. Guests have access to a microwave, mini-fridge, toaster, Keurig coffee maker and assorted glassware. The kitchenette is well stocked with wine opener, knives, coffee cups, wine glasses, etc. so guests may prepare food and drinks. We have provided teas, coffees, sugars, and creamers for beverages. We have a few snacks including granola bars, popcorn, etc. There are four chairs located at the bar top. There is a queen sized bed in the bedroom with a full length mirror, ample closet space with hangers, a dresser, an iron and ironing board. Towels, wash cloths, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash is available in the bathroom. The pull-out queen sofa in the living room is BRAND NEW. We also offer a new queen air mattress. We can assure that you will have a comfortable stay. There is access to Sling TV, Netflix, and the local channels on our flat screen TV. WiFi is also available. You will enjoy our beautiful and relaxing backyard oasis . There is a propane fire pit, four comfy lounge chairs with more upon request and an adirondack love seat for your enjoyment of the outdoors.

This is by far THE BEST place we've stayed in our travels! The owners have taken the time and effort to think of everything we could possibly want or need. Hattaras Hideaway is very spacious and it feels like coming "home". They even decorated for Christmas which was very unexpected but so enjoyable! Other places have had the basics - but often felt like bare echo chambers. These owners have made everything warm, inviting, and comfortable...and added LOTS of special touches...even to the outside space. And everything was extremely clean and fresh! Thank you for a wonderful place to stay. Everything the owners have done is so appreciated! We had a great time in Columbia with a fantastic place to kick back and relax in the evenings and get a good night's sleep for the next day.

There are four of us that come to Columbia every year for the Missouri High School football champiohship games. Finding a hotel can somethimes be difficult, so this year we decided to try something different. Everything worked out great. Peggy was very nice and helpful in accomidating us. Thanks!

This is my third stay at the Hideaway. It is absolutely my favorite place to stay when visiting my daughter. My son and husband joined me on the trip and could see why I wanted to stay there. It is always a wonderful stay.

This beautiful walkout-out finished basement feels like it’s brand-new, in a very nice, safe neighborhood. It comes with all the comfort you could ask for. The owners are very helpful and respond quickly to any questions. Anything extra you might need is labeled on closet doors and drawers. The bed was SUPER comfortable. I’m saving this one in case we’re ever in the area and need a spot to stay again! 5+++ stars!

This is a great apartment. Very spacious, clean, and convenient. It is completely as advertised, but even larger, cleaner, and nicer than I anticipated. The owners have included a lot of extras (snacks, bottled water, fans, toiletries that guests might forget). We had a very nice stay!

There’s a reason why these folks are so highly rated and it’s because Peggy and Ted have this down to a science! From the very beginning and throughout our stay Peggy was very responsive and helpful. You can tell from the moment you walk through the door that Peggy and Ted want to give you the best experience possible. The property is located in a safe and quiet neighborhood with plenty of space for parking, you’re also close to a network of stores and restaurants and Peggy and Ted even have a booklet of restaurant recommendations, they’ve created just the coziest space for their guests with plenty of room to lounge, and it was VERY clean! There were plenty of towels, blankets, and wash rags for all three of us. I wish we had time to enjoy their cute backyard with the fire pit, but we just didn’t get around to it this time. This is the best stay I’ve ever had including any hotel I’ve ever been to. I will certainly be re-booking when I come back to visit my Mom again! Thanks again Peggy and Ted! =)
