This oceanfront villa has two sides accessible through separate doors. The A side includes fully equipped kitchen, living room with flatscreen TV and queen-size sleeper sofa, and a master bedroom with a king-size bed. Flatscreen, vanity, and private bathroom with tiled, walk-in shower. The B side of the villa includes a guest bedroom with two full-size beds and a private bathroom with walk-in shower. Free Wi-Fi and cable TV. On the ground floor, you’ll find many amenities, including a seasonally heated pool, plenty of lounge chairs, hot tub, and baby pool as well as outdoor grills, fitness center, indoor pool, a picnic deck, and a private boardwalk to the beach. A short walk to the Fazio golf course and tennis courts. The Villamare condo community is known for its luxuriant and beautifully kept landscaping. Part of the Palmetto Dunes Plantation of Hilton Head Island, the development is walkable and has meandering bike paths as well. You’ll be mid-island, close to golf, tennis, pickleball, theater, and excellent restaurants. Boutiques, cafes, bars, and nightclubs are all near Villamare. Condo 1407 will make a welcoming home base for your memorable vacation on the island! THINGS TO KNOW This property is managed by Vacasa South Carolina LLC. October 15, 2023 - April 30, 2024, the main pool will be closed. The new serenity/adult pool and main pool will be under construction. The indoor pool and fitness center will remain open. Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 2 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. Very nice space, loved the full size washer and dryer. The only two gripes we had were, we were stuck inside due to the weather and the TVs are very old and we could not hook our Rokus to them to watch movies. The only other thing was neither shower had much pressure.

We love Hilton Head Island and Villamare. This was our first time staying in this particular condominium unit. To start with the positives: -The condo was nicely updated and clean. -The full-size washer and dryer are amazing. -There is a perfect view of the ocean from all the sliding glass doors and windows. -There is plenty of space for a family of 6 like mine. -The large kitchen sink is great and the kitchen had most of what we needed. -The tile floor is great for keeping clean and swept, so no gross carpet to deal with. -The Wi-Fi connection is great so we did not have any trouble in that area. -The pool area is fabulous, although we barely used the main pool because the water was pretty chilly. -The walk to the ocean is less than 5 minutes from the condo to the sand…some of the time is lost waiting on the elevator, which can be very slow. The main downside was that we had a problem with the bathtub and were trying to work with management to get it resolved, but we were unable to use it during our stay. Overall, we had a great time and will be back to Villamare in 2023.

Make sure you don't mind climbing stairs if you rent this condo. Our week long stay started with us arriving to the condo to find out the only elevator for the building wasn't working with an unknown time of fixing it (the condo is on the fourth floor). The elevator wasn't even looked at by repair people until Monday. It didn't get repaired until Thursday evening. The air in the condo stopped working midweek and took 2 days for them to get someone out to repair it. The condo was nice enough but not cleaned well. The kitchen is very well stocked. Also there are minimal amount of towels so I would recommend bringing your own if you don't want to do laundry everytime you take a shower. Also for most of the week the hot tub didn't work either. The maintenance of the resort itself is less than desirable. Also, vacasa staff are horrible to work with. They sound nice and like they are going to get things done, but there is no follow through at all. Run!! Find somewhere that is not rented through. by Vacasa.

This is a nice updated condo in a great location in Palmetto Dunes. Villamare is right past security in PD, near the Marriott resort. This unit has a nice partial ocean view. Full size washer & dryer, updated and clean. 2 balcony’s with seating to enjoy the views. All the kitchen items you need. The TV’s offer cable, but not streaming services. Queen beds are nice & soft, however the King bed was hard as a rock. The pool is nice size, with plenty of lounge chairs. however there isnt much shade or any tables/chairs to sit at. The unit also has a great borrowed item bin where you can leave your discarded beach items which is awesome. Overall this is a nice unit in a nice community. Great place to stay in HHI

The Villamare property was spacious and well appointed. It was a real pleasure to sit on the balcony and listen to the ocean waves as we had breakfast. I highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful trip! Beautiful place to stay both the unit itself and the complex. Have rented this unit now 3 times and enjoy it so much! My only complaint is you really need to be able to offer more than 2 parking spot permits per stay. We understand this rule, but you should be able to “pay” for an additional permit. We were only allowed 2. Had 4 adults in unit (2 bedroom) but needed 3 as we were coming from all different directions out of state. Walked down to finding our 3rd vehicle being towed which totally interrupted the vacay. Thank goodness we saw this in time! Again, understand if it were summer and spots were hard to come by. However, I would say more than half of the spaces in the complex were available!!! Just ridiculous. Despite that, had a wonderful stay and we appreciated Vacasa for stepping up and allowing our 3rd vehicle to stay the night on their property. Thank you!

The location and view was great. Pictures online make it look better than it is but it worked for us. I am a gym fanatic and was disappointed that there were gym pictures. I put on workout clothes only to find out gym has been closed since COVID started. Overall was a nice stay.
