Take a trip back in history and experience this gorgeous villa built in 1937! West Beach is an unbeatable location much like the center of a wagon wheel, with the beach, the harbor, activities, festivals, restaurants, bars, train station, State Street, The Funk Zone and cafes stretching out in all directions. No need for a car when you stay at one of these villas, everything is a short walk or bike ride away. Stroll to the beach with a wagon full of everything needed for a restful (or sandcastle building) day on our beautiful coast and return in the afternoon for games with family and friends while cooking dinner in a well-appointed kitchen. Every amenity has been well thought out and is provided to all of our guests to ensure a wonderful dining experience whether it's a dinner in with family or a few friends have stopped in for appetizers and drinks. Every attention to detail has been made on your behalf. All linens, cookware and supplies are provided to all of our guests, all of the time. Pack and play portable crib and high chair provided. This house is absolutely lovely. We wish we could have stayed longer. It was exactly as described in the listing, if not better. It exceeded our expectations. It was in a charming neighborhood, close to restaurants, shops, the beach, and the train station, which was great as we arrived by train from LA. It was well-stocked with beach gear, which we used every day. The back patio was peaceful and we enjoyed sitting out in the evenings. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

This was a lovely house in a great location just a few blocks from the beach. Everything was clean and in good condition. The only thing that the listing didnt mention is that this is actually a duplex. The walls are thin and you can hear everything the neighbors are doing, even just walking around. It made it a bit tricky with a newborn and making sure nightime was quiet. Other than that, the property was wonderful.

This house was the perfect size and location for our week-long stay with 2 adults and a toddler. Very clean and had everything we needed (extra linens, towels, kitchen utensils, etc). Liked that we were able to park in the driveway. Easy walk to multiple beaches, restaurants, and children's museum. Appreciated the included wagon with beach chairs, toys, umbrella, etc for daily beach trips. Great patio for lounging and eating our meals.

We stayed at this property in November 2020 and learned a major appliance was broken upon arrival. Although a property manager worked to ensure it would be replaced during our 6 day stay, the maintenance staff who came did not wear masks appropriately and we had to stay outside of the building for hours while it was installed. It left us feeling uncomfortable and then I had to email with property management for nearly two months to request an adjustment to the price, which they ultimately refused, after sending some shockingly rude emails to me. I have never experienced customer service like this from a property management company and would suggest the owner obtain a new company.The apartment was otherwise fine. It is a duplex so you can hear tenants in the other half of the building. The garden in the backyard is nice for hosting outdoor visitors during Covid times, but there is not adequate night-time lighting so it wouldn't work to host guests outdoors at night. The apartment was clean enough and the location is about a 10 minute walk from State Street.I would not stay here again given the very poor property management.

A place to return to....
We were in West beach for 5 nights . Our apt. was in the best location. Friends lived close and we didn’t want to impose on them.
The backyard parking spot was a bonus. We walked to the ocean, restaurants and bars.
The first floor apt. had a comfy king bed, a separate dining room, and a kitchen that wins the “best stocked” award. There was not one kitchen item that we needed to buy. I actually came home & bought some kitchen items identical to our rental’s.
We def. plan to return. That’s the best recommendation any owner/renter wants.

We love West Beach in Santa Barbara and this property is perfect in every way. It is very clean and comfortable with plenty of space to relax both indoors and out. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with many trees on the property. It feels like home when you pull in the driveway.
There are many conveniences such as a full kitchen, dining room, Wi-Fi, on premise parking, close location to the beach, State Street, Yacht Harbor and the Funk Zone. We will definitely stay again!

Great home with character, perfect location on West Beach
We loved the house, it's a pre war (redwood beamed apparently) separated house with great interior details and an immaculate yard. The home has 2 units in it, we typically couldn't hear a peep from the other unit through the thick walls. Location is perfect, a few blocks to the beach walk and restaurants / funk zone all easily walkable. We stayed in 3 homes in SB and this was by the far the best experience.
