Situated in Ocean Beach, this charming cottage for $606 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Perfect Beach House Location!! Completely remodeled this year with a high end luxury beach style. Enjoy the magnificent views and breezes from this beautiful, luxurious and spacious top floor 3 bedroom, plus loft, 2 bath townhouse. Big Views of the beach, ocean, the OB Pier and sunsets all from the living room, balcony, dining room, kitchen and roof top deck. We are across the street from the beach and Saratoga park (big grassy area with picnic tables) and one of the best areas on the beach for swimming, boogie boarding and surfing. This is our largest unit, it features an open floor plan with wide planked wood floors and is decorated in a classic upscale beach style. The living room, dining room, kitchen and nice sized front balcony all look out to the ocean, the pier and amazing sunsets. This unit features a large, awesome roof top deck with amazing Views of the ocean, local hills and north towards La Jolla, you can even enjoy the Sea World fireworks from the deck! We are across the street from the beach and a 5 minute walk to the main street "Newport Ave" that has all the restaurants, bars and shopping and the famous Ocean Beach Pier. The living room features plenty windows overlooking the view, a gas fireplace, a wall mounted flat screen tv and plenty of seating. The large front balcony is perfect for enjoying the sunset while you BBQ on the private grill. The kitchen has recycled glass counters, stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar that opens to the dining room. The kitchen is well stocked will all the pots and pans, coffee maker, blender, microwave oven, dishes and a dishwasher The large master suite has a king sized bed with plenty of natural light and it's own private bathroom with bathtub. You will be able to see the Sea World fireworks from the master bedroom. The 2nd bedroom is large and has a queen sized bed with lots of natural light. There is a bathroom in the hallway for the other bedrooms. Both of these bedrooms and bathrooms are on the main level. The upstairs is accessed with a spiral staircase and has a sitting room with a twin sized trundle bed that turns into a king sized bed. Upstairs bedroom has vaulted ceilings and 2 twin beds. This unit has 5 beds in total plus the twin sized trundle bed. It sleeps a maximum of 8. The roof top deck has a table and chairs perfect to relax and watch the pelicans fly by and the Sea World fireworks during the summer. There is also a chaise lounge to relax and read a book or take a nap in the sun. This unit has a private gas grill on the front balcony, a washer and dryer, a dvd player, surround sound in the living room, 2 boogie board and 2 beach chairs for your use. There are 8 beach towels with this unit. This unit can accommodate 8 guests. We have beach toys available for little ones. Excellent location for all the tourist attractions, 5 minutes to Sea World, Sunset Cliffs Natural Park 10 minutes to Cabrillo National Monument, Fort Rosecrans, Point Loma, Shelter Island and Sport Fishing, 10-15 minutes to the San Diego Zoo, Downtown San Diego (Gaslamp District), Petco Park and the Convention Center. Walking distance to awesome tide pools as well!

Our family visited the area to attend the MCRD graduation. We had 2 nephews graduate and earn the title of Marines. Location was great, easy to find and parking was perfect for our bigger SUV. The condo was perfect for us, close to all of the fun places to eat as well as beautiful walks on the beach. Would highly recommend this condo!

Previously, we have always stayed in Mission Beach, but thought we'd give Ocean Beach a try this year. The access to the beach is excellent and the view includes the beach and sunset. Just a few blocks away are many restaurants and shops. There is even a grocery store within walking distance. We enjoyed sampling many of the restaurants. The Wednesday afternoon Farmers' Market was really fun.

Clean, easy place to base for week in San Diego. Fun Ocean Beach vibe and nice swimming beach block from the door. All the beach extras you'll need - towels, umbrellas, beach chairs, boogie boards available to borrow.

The booking and check in process was easy. However, the pics and description were not accurate. The couch and chairs were not even usable. You immediately sunk into them and they need to be replaced immediately. The living room space was not usable at all for us. The cleaning crew was just finishing when we got there to check in and the floors were still wet once we gained entry but overall it was clean. There was a missing remote in the upstairs room also. The area around the cottage was dirty and it smelled of urine. There was dog poop smeared on the sidewalks. The locals were not friendly, the area in general was run down, and there was a lot of homeless population around.

The place was absolutely perfect for us four adults to enjoy the weekend graduation celebrations with our family. I rent out on VRBO myself and I manage my own property. I have found the properties managed by companies are typically not kept as well, but this property was safe, clean, accommodating, and just what we needed.

The house was great! Great location right across the street from the beach; the street is quiet too. Lots of walkable shops and restaurants The unit we stayed in was super cute cozy with a great view of the beach.
The tub in the master is divine. The weather during our stay wasn't great for water activities, but it's really nice there were enough towels and boogie boards, etc. available. Everyone had a great time and many comments were made about coming back to this house with their family or next time they were in town. I'd love to come back in the summer myself. We had a great time when we stayed at Seagull Cottage. It is so close to all the tourist attractions and a quick walk to restaurants, plus the beach is literally steps away. You can’t go wrong booking this place.

Great Location for the beach, Newport Ave. beds were super comfy, living and dining furniture we not comfortable for social gathering for any extended amount of time. Not quite as spacious as the pictures appear. overall it as a pleasurable experience and again the location is great!

Perfect stay at this clean, super functional property. Host was incredibly accommodating with my last-minute reservation. Cross the street to the beach, which was wonderful. Upstairs bedroom/loft combo was great for the kids. All in all, a wonderful spot.

Great apartment, clean and well outfitted. The area down the street isn’t well kept and can be a bit sketchy though. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we’re happy with it all.

Had problems streaming in two of the bedrooms and there was a large party in the park down the street which kept us awake. Not sure if it’s a chronic problem.

We joined them for the last night and it made the trip to the airport first thing in the morning much faster too. Even with Covid restrictions, there's plenty of OB Culture to enjoy. Mahalo.

We had a great time in San Diego the home was super convenient to the beach Access, restaurants and stores just around the corner. My only thing was that they had cannabis Festival and a farmers market that was super crowded, with tons of people not socially distancing, no masks and smoking weed so much we couldn’t leave the patio doors open. The Chanting circle could be heard til 2:00 in the morning. So if visiting check San Diego event calendar. Other than that we used beach chairs and umbrella which was very helpful. Also very close to San Diego Zoo.

We loved the location of this property! So close to the beach. We would definitely return.Pros: a good amount of space for a family of 4 (and could have fit several more), kitchen had everything we needed, porch with a view of the ocean, nice bathrooms, air conditioning was nice and cool on the main floor, walkable to restaurants for takeout (important during COVID), dedicated parking (important for that area, it's hard to find parking!), place to hose off sand after the beach, codes to get in gates and doors made it easy (didn't have to carry around keys), good value for the price, lots of closet space and drawersCons: noisy (in the flight path of San Diego airport, lots of noise from different air conditioner units for the building turning on and off, fan in the master bedroom made noise that made it hard to sleep with the fan on), seating (couch and chairs in the living room, outdoor furniture) was not very comfortable, Wi-Fi was weak in some areas of the unit, the loft area up the spiral staircase was warm even when the downstairs was cool (only one air conditioning vent up there)
