We had a pleasant, convenient, and cozy stay at Hancock Street. The apartment was very clean and well-equipped, and it was very convenient to get to the workplace. I am fully satisfied with our staying for 3 weeks.

We stayed at this apartment for 6 nights and we loved the place! Blue line and Red line subway stations, as well as many shops and attractions were in walking distance. The room is not large, but three of us (we had a 4 year old with us) stayed there comfortably.
We would choose this place again if we revisit Boston in the future.

This apartment on Beacon Hill near Boston Common was the perfect choice for our first visit to Boston. A walk up in an historic building, the decor is lovely, and though small, overall is comfortable and efficiently set up. With Whole Foods very nearby, great restaurants, and good T access, I would definitely stay here again.

The stay was great, location was perfect!
A few things we noticed. One: the key to the front door of the building was very tricky to unlock. Second: when using a hair dryer the fuse blows. Third: the WiFi did not work.. we tried every day and called the number on the paper. No response. Other than these few things the stay was great!

I enjoyed my stay in this Beacon Hill apartment. It was very modern and comfortable. The location is the best part. It was walking distance to everything I wanted to do except for the Red Sox game. But it was close to a subway station for that. Just a couple of blocks walk to Boston Common and Public Garden. This apartment isn’t for someone who can’t do stairs. There’s no elevator and it’s up on the 3rd floor.

Very comfortable apartment in a quiet neighborhood in Boston’s Beacon Hill.

Fantastic location and beautifully updated condo.
It was well worth the sacrifice of small condo in exchange for location and modern style.

Very nice place, exactly as described in the listing. Walkable to everything
Great place to stay while exploring Boston. Not only is a car not required, it would be a liability as there is no place to park. Plan on walking or using bus/Subway or Uber/Lyft. We tried to contact the owners twice during our stay but no call back, (not cool) so you will be on your own the entire time. The stove/oven doesn't work, so don't plan on preparing any food other than with the microwave. Lots of dining options within walking distance though. Boston had its first freeze (17 degrees) of the year and we had no heat in the apartment (hence the reason we tried to contact the owner). The heat did eventually come on. It is radiant heater controlled by some means beyond the tenant's control and seems to only come on very late at night until very early in the morning. So prepare accordingly if you come during a change of seasons.

Great location, clean and quiet!
This is a very cute, small condo in the Beacon Hill area. The pictures are exactly what you will get. The location is great if you want to explore the city. We were amazed at how quiet it was. We actually had a very nice man in the building offer to carry our suitcases up the stairs for us. That was a real blessing. Four flights of a winding staircase is not easy to carry up heavy luggage for three women! Be prepared for that. As with most older buildings, there were some issues. You can't have the coffee pot on and a hair dryer at the same time. We learned to adjust to what could be running at the same time. We could not get the stove to work either, but Heidi was helpful and offered to have someone come look at it. That never happened so she offered to refund us some money. We had to throw away quite a bit of food that we planned on cooking, and ate out more. I would recommend this place, if you don't need the luxuries of a hotel.

Perfect location
Perfect size for two people. Loved the location. It is on the fourth floor so if you can't do stairs this isn't the place for you.
Literally perfect for being a tourist. Even has a car rental place near if you are going out of the city.

Simply Wonderful
Boston is such an amazing city and staying at this place made it so much better. The inside is very clean and cozy, just perfect for my husband and I. We especially loved the fact that this place is in such a prime spot, everything is walk-able from here. Just step outside and you are right next to the State House, a little further down is Boston Common and the start of the Freedom Trail. One thing I will mention, which of course is not a deal breaker, but there is no ESPN. That was hard for my husband because one of the nights I wanted to stay in and recuperate from all the walking and since he couldn't go anywhere he thought he could watch the RedSox game. Other than that, everything was wonderful with our stay and we would definitely come back.

Beautiful place in a great location!
Great location and fabulous place! Pictures are spot on. No issues getting into the condo and waiting for us was a sweet note, a bottle of wine and chocolates! So sweet! Be prepared to climb three flights of stairs, but so worth it! Very clean, charmingly decorated, comfortable bed and rollaway bed. Location, location, location! Walking distance to subway, Boston Common Park, Freedom Trail, North End, Beacon Hill shops and great restaurants. Whole Foods is close by too. Quiet and safe neighborhood! We will definitely be back!

Lovely Beacon Hill space!
This was a great spot for our trip to Boston. Just right for a place to have for the week. The location is phenomal - there is so much within walking distance! Everything was clean and well kept. We had no issues getting in and communication was prompt when needed. Would stay here again if I ever go back to Boston and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

Location, location, location!
Boston is amazing and so accessible from this apartment. You can walk most everywhere. There are 3 T stops 5 minutes or less walking. Beacon Hill is gorgeous. Heidi and Steve are wonderful hosts. Apartment is perfect for a couple. My daughter and I shared on this visit. My daughter used the fold away cot as opposed to the sofa bed. She said the cot was good sleeping vs the sofa bed. Apartment was immaculate on check-in. It is a 4th floor walk up so be sure you can handle stairs. Boston is beautiful to visit from this apartment. Enjoy the hospitality of Heidi and Steve! Enjoy Boston!
