Gorgeous views and amazing staff

The staff was a welcome change from the general rude behavior I observed in whole of Georgia. I would go back to Georgia just because of this property. Kudos to the lady at the reception for checking me in quick and the gentleman at the bar who was a pleasure to talk to, and accommodated my requests for food. The place is very cozy, and the view from the mountain view rooms were gorgeous. I would totally recommend this place to anyone - solo or family.

Very nice stay...

I had a good taste of Georgia thanks to the staff at Kazbek. Everyone was so nice and helpful, I really enjoyed my stay.

The hotel door room is simple wood and all the noises from outside comes in also the light from the corridor.

Good place to stay in Kazbegi with one of the best views on the mountain. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly.

we came here for our wedding and enjoyed our time very much. When we arrived they served a bottle of champagne in our room as a gift from the hotel

Good location but that is it

Great view from the rooms, excellent location. Rooms nice and warm.

Lack of electric sockets in room. No storage for anything in the rooms. Bathroom very small and basic, impossible for 2 people to be in the bathroom at the same time. Not worth for star rating. No rubbish bin in room.

Hotel staff are very good service mind

I faced unexpected domestic flight cancellation, so I could not go to mestia. That makes us not visit Hotel. I tried to contact the hotel immediately when the airline informed me, but I could not contact the hotel with any channel. So it made me upset.

Beautiful view and a comfortable place to stay at even in winter

Nicely placed. You can enjoy the view of majestic mountains all around. Staff is really nice and ready to help. In overall a good place to stay at.

Worst hotel stay away

Nothing at all Dont waste your money on this place

Food was cold and old Vegitables served were spoilt. The bread was few days old. Shower was broken Hair dryer didnt work

Nice hotel in Kazbegi

- Nice and cosy hotel with great view to the mountains and trinity church - Staff friendly and welcoming - Home made khinkali and khachapuri at the restaurant

- Bathroom not very comfortable, as the bathtub was not separated from the toilet and because there was a column right in front of the sink

Nice place.

Teori the women at the check in desk and the lady (maybe Tori’s mother) that is responsible for the kitchen.

The man behind the bar. He objected to the table I sat in for breakfast although the whole contain had only one other occupied table! He was not friendly at all.

Cozy and Inviting. I will stay again!

Loved this hotel! There aren't alot of rooms, but that means it is quiet and cozy. The lounge/restaurant area had plenty of room for their guests. Me and my husband spent time working from different parts of this area. The view of Gergeti Church and Kazbegi from our balcony every morning is something we will remember forever! The staff is warm, friendly, and were always happy to accommodate requests within their means. From our check-in to our check-out we were made to feel at ease. The King sized room is spacious enough for a couple and the bathroom had plenty of hot water. Make sure to reserve a room with a landmark view so you get the best views of Kazbegi.

I wish there was a trash can for the room in addition to the bathroom trash can. We made our own trashbag for the room with a spare Spar plastic bag.

One of the best stay/property at Kazbeki with views worth the money.

Located in Kazbeki, Georigia, overlooking the Kazbeki Mountain Peaks and Gergeti Trinity church Alpine Lounge is definitely the place to spend few days if you need to enjoy the mountain and valley views. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles at the reception, check in was in minutes and all we had to do was show our passports, pay and then sign a form. The main lobby is on the first floor and we had our room on the 2nd floor with mountain views, of course. They help us with our luggage up to the room. The room was so clean and had a very warm and welcoming feel to it. Spacious enough for 2 persons with a nice comfortable bed and an OK bathroom, very clean and dries fast after a bath. Hot water is available 24/7. The view from the balcony is why I booked this property and it delivers just that, breathtaking views. We visited about end of August and it was lik 23 degrees during day and 13 degrees at night or my be less. But we just kept the window open at all time and the fresh alpine air just blew in. There is a restaurant/bar/lounge near to the lobby/reception which has a superb outdoor deck and viewing area. It was so nice to sit there and enjoy the morning breakfast and sip on a cold glass of Kindzmarauli in the evenings enjoying the sunset and the mountains. The hotel even arranged us taxi to come back from Kazbeki town which is like a 2 km hike up (not my cup of tea). Other staff at the hotel are all helpful. There is a wine/tasting shop just in the parking lot of this hotel. Breakfast buffet was satisfying. It was worth sending 2 nights at Alpine Lounge.

I was expecting a bigger balcony with a relaxing seating to enjoy the views but the balcony is rather small and the chair provided in the balcony is not suitable to sit long. bathroom could have been more roomy. Bathroom could have been more roomier, being a XXL person I felt a bit cramped. Only few staff knows English and may be that's why they are kind of shy or not bothered to have a conversation with you so you fee a bit odd at times. No grocery shop close by to get extra water/cigarettes/bread/other things you may need. If you are a person who like complete silence while sleeping then you will need to bring ear plugs as the area is surrounded by dogs, cows and roosters and there was a concert of these three going on at night and early morning and we had all the windows open but we still could sleep since coming from all midnight false alarms, turbo racing and honking.

Pleasant

Staff was nice and attentive. Location is perfect with great views. Room was big. Parking was conformable. Cafe area is nice.

Room facilities were poor, there is no mini bar, no wardrobe, not enough sockets. Furniture quality was bad (door locker, shower, chairs) Balcony was very small, mainly for standing porpoises. Breakfast was delicious but was not diverse (After some minutes some stuff was already empty) Generally overpriced especially when sauna price is not included in room prices.

Cool Mountain Experience

- the staff was nice. - the location is good, views of the mountains around are beautiful. The small town's main street is about a 10-minutes walk, mind that the way back to the hotel goes a bit upwards. - breakfast is good, the buffet is not enormous but the quality is good and the dining area is cozy.

- There was not too much water coming from the shower head. No huge problem but it was harder to shower. - I would consider another trash bin in the room besides the one already present in the bathroom which is pretty small
