About this house rental
Situated in Portland, this lovely house for $184 per night is a great choice for your next trip. We are excited to share our newly renovated and fully furnished two bedroom and two bath home with large back yard! We are committed to giving you a fantastic stay! The home is on the way to beautiful Mount Hood and Multnomah Falls but is also close to downtown, it's a perfect location to check out all of what the Pacific North West has to offer. As you enter through the front door you will be greeted by a bright sitting room. This is a large room perfect for reading your favorite book, or to spread out while playing any of the board games that we supply. You will also find our guest book and large guest map in this room, as we would love to know where you have traveled from. As you walk into the center of the home you will find an updated kitchen that opens up into the dining area, TV room and back yard. The TV room has a 55 inch smart TV with a sectional couch is ready for you to spread out and enjoy your favorite Netflix shows and Hulu (don't forget your login information, we do not supply a subscription or cable television). The updated and fully furnished kitchen is ready for you to cook your favorite meal or warm up your take out. We supply all sorts of spices, olive oil, salt and pepper and aluminum foil. As you head down the hall you will find the first of two full bathrooms on your left. This newly renovated bathroom includes quartz counter tops and a wall mounted rain shower head. The first of two bedrooms at the end of the hall has a queen bed with soft luxurious sheets and goose down comforter. The master suite is large with a queen bed and luxurious sheets and goose down comforter as well. It has two closets, one walk in closet located in the bathroom. The bathroom is large and beautifully updated. It has a walk in shower with subway tile and wall mounted rain shower head. In the walk in closet of the master you will find extra linens, two pillows and an extra comforter. The Aerobed is also located in this area for extra guests. There is a large back yard and patio with a patio table and chairs with an over sized umbrella for those sunny days. You will not have access to our private mother in law suite, with whom we have a full time tenant. It is located behind the house separated by a fence. The tenant does not have access to the backyard or the house. All tenants are background checked. For your convenience, we have a key less front door lock that is easy to use to access the home during your stay. I will provide you with easy instructions and a code on the day of your arrival. We have central A/C and heat. The thermostat is located on the right hand side of the hall as you head towards the bedrooms.

Absolutely the cleanest VRBO we have stayed. It was spotless! Nicely decorated and we enjoyed the positive inspirational sayings throughout the home. Definitely would be a five star, but the neighborhood was not the best, but at least it was quiet. Home itself is a five star.

It's in the middle of a crowded neighborhood but inside the house feels private. Two separate seating areas in addition to the kitchen table was nice. The house was hard to find in the dark because I couldn't see house numbers, but I was able to find it with the assistance of Google Maps street view. The interior was nicely appointed and in good working order. The owners were easy to communicate with and accommodating. A supermarket was two blocks away.

My husband, sister, and nephew rented this home. It was close to another nephew’s home where a reception was held, as we were in town for my brother’s memorial. We were impressed with the open concept kitchen/TV/family room and there was also a separate living room area at the front entrance. Coupled with an outdoors table/chairs gave ample room for holding private conversations. We only used the home for sleeping nights but we really appreciated the personal touches in the house which made it a comfortable home during our stay. The Keurig was perfect, and all of the bedrooms/master bedroom had nice linens and the kitchen was nicely appointed with pots/pans/dishes – everything for cooking if preferred. We supplied the food/beverages for my brother’s reception so it was nice to be able to check in early ($75 early check-in fee) to store food in the refrigerator, ample enough to hold food for 30 people. A couple of small nitpicks is that the extra linens stored in the master bedroom had not been washed and had major stains on the pillowcases so we washed them before my nephew used them. Also, the master bedroom overhead lights flickered incessantly, which was reported upon check-in; however, it wasn’t fixed. My husband noted it was an electrical issue and not a quick light bulb replacement fix. Consequently, the master bedroom was too dark even with the nightstand tables because the blinds could not be opened due to a tenant living behind the master bedroom. Beautiful home!

We were in town for the Portland Open at Glendoveer golf course and this nicely kept home was perfectly located just a few blocks away from the event. Lots of restaurants and nearby grocery which was convenient too. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice small house in working class neighborhood

My bucket list
Even though it was smokey and still in the pandemic we had a great time. Visiting Oregon state and Washington state was the only two of the states left on my bucket list. Our accommodations were very nice and the owner Kristen was always quick to answer our questions.

Pristine Home in blue collar neighborhood.
The exterior of the home fits in with the neighborhood. The interior on the other had definitely has the look and feel of all the amenities of a brand new home. We enjoyed breakfast on the patio overlooking an inviting back yard. The owners were accessible, responsive and prompt.
