Cute & roomy. Wonderful location. Met all of our needs for Mom & Dad and our 3 adult children traveling for a family event. Sauna and food in the cabinet and fridge was a nice touch.

Dennis and Trudy were delightful hosts. They made sure we had everything we needed. The house itself was adorable and in a convenient and quiet neighborhood

This gem was everything we could hope for and more. Dennis met us when we got in at midnight and showed us around. They had some quality staples stocked (milk, eggs bread butter) and the kitchen is well equipped. Wifi was easy to access, sauna was dreamy and there are two secret toy filled rooms for yhe kids to play in. Baby gates on every staircase, cute little outdoor area in the back with more toys. Planty if seating for dining, comfortable furniture and all beautifully presented with the sweetest owners right next door, but not invasive. Highly recomend this for your next portland vacation!

Trudy and Dennis were most gracious hosts. They greeted us upon our arrival and bid us farewell upon our departure. They even stocked the refrigerator and pantry with essentials so we could enjoy breakfast and refreshments throughout our stay. Multnomah village is an eclectic enclave with great restaurants, funky stores and a great sense of community. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved sitting on the quiet back porch. The house was stocked with anything you could possibly need. We appreciate all the extras!

Hosts Dennis and Trudy were VERY friendly. Easy check in/out. The home was stocked with everything needed. Not the newest property, but pretty clean and would be a good option for families with preschool and school aged children (lots of small bed space, movies, and toys). Some cobwebs, dust, etc. We were pleased with our stay for the price.

We had a great stay and really enjoyed the location, the neighbourhood, and the owners. We'll certainly be back!

The location was perfect and the home is quaint, however, it felt a bit cluttered for my tastes. In that sense it didn’t feel like the pictures represented the home accurately because it was a bit overstuffed. We couldn’t watch tv because the signal was poor/fair. Worked on my tablet but not the tv. We had to set up our Roku account on the tv which is the first time we’ve had to do that. The owner told me he wouldn’t be able to greet me but told me the door would be open, but it was not. After a long drive that was a bit bothersome since I had 30 minutes to drop the rental off.
The owner was VERY nice and responsive but that doesn’t make up for the experience of what we got for the money. It was not worth $185 a night in my opinion.
It was stocked with some food, which is thoughtful, but for someone with a child with a peanut allergy was a bit concerning because they left cookies out that might have had peanuts or processed in a peanut facility so had to waste those and throw them away. There was also a peanut butter jar in the cabinet which then prompted me to clean all the surfaces. Additionally, the coffee pot was dirty when I arrived which made me wonder if the sheets and blankets were freshly laundered so I washed all of those too. They had plenty of food but left only 2 coffee filters.
I only raised the tv to the VRBO owners attention and there was no resolution. He reset the router but it did nothing.
I do think the owner as a human is 5 stars.

Our week in this sweet cottage was balm for the soul. The house was comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed, and the garden was a peaceful oasis for our meals with friends. The hosts were beyond gracious and accommodating. The walking paths in the area are excellent, and it’s an easy walk to groceries, restaurants, and shops. We hope to be back!

Perfect place to stay with more than you could ask for from stocked items in the house to the most charming of hosts... Will be coming back to stay again for sure!

Fantastic hosts - we had a wonderful time. All 5 of us were able to have beds to ourselves (one futon converted into a bed, I believe). The house was lovely and located in a beautiful neighborhood. Several of us also had a chance to enjoy the sauna during our last evening there. It was also easy to call Ubers whenever we needed to get to downtown Portland. Would definitely recommend this place!

Dennis and Trudy were terrific hosts! We were able to check-in early and they had provided some basic food items (fruit, bread, eggs) so that we wouldn't have to rush to a grocery store for provisions. The property had multiple gathering areas and we hosted a small dinner party on the deck Saturday night with family before the Timbers game. The home is within walking distance of Multnomah Village - a delightful community of shops and restaurants - and also conveniently located to freeway access to venture into Portland.

Dennis and Trudi own the rental and live on property. Truly the kindest hosts I have experienced. The space has gorgeous views and outdoor areas to enjoy them. The sauna was amazing after wine tasting each day. Very close proximity to restaurants and markets. Such a gem.

Very nice place to stay. It felt very Portland to us. Thank you!

This home gave us “weekend getaway at grandmas” meaning almost everything we needed they provided! That’s how great of a host Dennis and Trudi are with this home. Our stay consisted of three adults, we each had plenty of room. Just keep in mind there are stairs to get to two bedrooms and only one bathroom which is located downstairs. Home is also children friendly as they have endless movies available and play rooms. My husband enjoyed the sauna definitely an added bonus to our amazing vacation. Nonetheless, I would definitely return to this home and recommend to all who want to visit Portland.

I live in the neighborhood and needed extra space. I choose to stay here and give my family my house. Quiet neighborhood, sweet owners and absolutely everything one needs to be comfortable.

The hosts' personal touches were beyond words, not just to the home itself, but also to their pre-trip communication and personal reception of us upon our arrival. A nice quiet neighborhood, centrally located in Portland - this house worked perfectly for us!

This Multnomah Village house was very cozy and in a quiet, very friendly neighborhood. I loved the warm pine woodwork, the wrought iron decor, the quilts, cozy warm blankets and pillows. The beds and futons were very comfortable. I felt that everything was well thought out with obvious great taste and love. The upstairs bedrooms were delightful with hidden rooms in which children could play to their heart’s content. The views are pure Oregon; an abundance of green, fir trees, rhododendron. The place was equipped with most anything you might need, like at home: Pepto Bismol, shampoo, toothpaste, all kinds of things, so you probably won’t need to run out at the last minute. The hosts, Dennis and Trudy were so wonderful. They were welcoming, informative, caring and their presence next door was comforting to us. I wish they were my real next door neighbors. Shopping is close by and it includes the quaint, artsy area of Multnomah Village full of specialty shops and eateries. The area is also a beautiful, safe environment for walking. We definitely will request to stay in this gem in the future.

Very comfortable!!! Nice, friendly hosts!!! Enjoyed our 5 day stay. Everything we needed to feel at home!!!

The home was beautiful, with lots of homey touches like thick quilts and hot chocolate mix. We came in in the wee hours of the morning due to very bad weather during travel. The lights were on, soft music was playing, and the host had left foodstuffs for breakfast the next morning. It was a welcome relief

The house suited out needs perfectly. Trudy and Dennis were wonderful hosts, available if we needed anything (which was unlikely as the house was so well stocked), but not intrusive. We were there for an early Christmas and we’re delighted when we arrived to find it decorated for the holiday. The location was so nice, in a quiet neighborhood close to Multnonah Village.

Nice open kitchen, dining, and living area. Well stocked kitchen. Two off street parking spaces in driveway. Comfortable.

The way the home was set up was so wonderful. There are places for alone and community time.
While the place isn’t 100% ADA, it wouldn’t be hard to move around with a cane or walker. There are handles and grab bars in the bathroom. I really love that.
The whole space is so welcoming and cozy. I see my self coming back a lot. We are close to a lot of things and still have a lovely tranquil area to return to.
100% beats the pants off any high priced hotels I’ve ever stayed at.
Love the owners, honestly I’d love to come back just to have tea and talk. So many wonderful stories.

Super cozy, charming, and comfortable cottage in a great location...feels very rural and peaceful but only 10 minute drive to downtown Portland. Perfect size for our family of four. Hosts were very warm and welcoming. We'd love to return!

Trudi and Dennis are five-star hosts. The cottage is warm, inviting, comfortable, and accommodating. There are always provisions, toiletries, and fresh flowers. The beds are comfy and the kids’ nooks and crannies are amazing. We return and return to this Portland haven.

Staying here was overall really good. There was a couple misunderstandings in communication regarding the price and the check in process was not clear before or when we arrived. The hosts were very gracious and sweet and made sure we had everything we needed, including ample breakfast items in the fridge and cupboards. The space was very clean but there are a lot of personal feeling items in the cottage, making it feel less like a rental and more like someone’s home.
Excellent quiet location in Portland.

We are so glad we stayed here while in Portland. The house is truly charming and the owners are simply wonderful. Our two boys had a blast exploring all this home has to offer. Having a lot of comforts of home, extra towels, spare tolietries, and some food staples provided, was such an added bonus.

Enjoyed our ten-day stay at this spacious but cozy unique property. Especially good for families. Everything you would need is provided, including basic food supplies which was a nice surprise. Hosts Trudi and Dennis were nearby and so friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

A wonderful rental property that was perfect for kids. We loved our stay, and the property was even better than the advertisement made it seem. If you're going to Portland and you have kids, you need to stay here. Thanks for a great stay!

Great space, tons of toys and things for the kids, everything we needed in the kitchen, very clean, tons of sleeping options. Kids loved the two twin beds and sky lights. The deck off the upstairs was our favorite place to relax. Hosts were right next door and extremely friendly and welcoming. Overall great experience and highly recommend

The owners live next door, built this adjacent house. Every inch of it is constructed, chosen, designed beautifully. Even though they are not allowed to call one of their rooms an actual room, it is beautiful and has its own bathroom. So the house is more spacious than the description! Glorious garden, decks, sauna. The owners, Dennis and Trudy, are so interesting and communicative. Would love to rent it every time we come to Portland.

Great place to stay!
This house is in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood. The kids loved playing in the backyard and the field close by. There were lots of toys for them to play with and the views of the sunrises and sunsets from the deck were incredible! We would totally stay here again.

Great for families
This property was great for our family. Very kid-friendly with two rooms with toys for the kids. The owners let us pick raspberries in their yard and provided some food essentials which helped. Very great, quiet neighborhood as well.
