Very nice, spacious room with two big beds, very comfortable. Kind host and good breakfast. Calm neighborhood.

Good location for a relaxed stay in the Mt. Fuji area. Conveniently located near a family mart and walking distance to some good restaurants. The breakfast was good and healthy. The room was surprisingly spacious (twin bed room).
The bathroom had a mildew/stale smell, especially the shower curtain. The ventilation was not great either. Since we stayed for two nights, we had our heavy luggage with us, so be prepared to carry it up a flight of stairs (there’s no elevator). Additionally the actual hotel room is a 2 min walk away from the area where you check in.
The lady that was part of the staff and worked mainly in the cafe, although she was nice, it seemed that she didn’t fully understand our requests such as hailing a taxi. We were told we could use the hotel to call a cab, and when we tried she said that the “taxis were sold out”. Be forewarned if you are on a tight schedule and need to get to kawaguchiko station. There is a bus stop out front but it only comes every 15 min and is a 21 min ride.
