It is a lovely classic pub, nicely decorated & the shower was brilliant in the room . BIG PLUS, phone & iPad charger sockets in the bedroom.
I did not eat there so cannot comment. Staff were helpful & the price was very competitive . Despite being on the roundabout the room was quiet & plenty of parking. The no charge cancellation policy is very unusual but brilliant if you need to cancel.
The decoration is a little tired, a bit damp in places, but I suspect there will be a revamp sooner or later, it is an old property with character !

The staff in the pub were extremely friendly.
Our stay wasn’t great. There was a smell of sewage in the night from outside, but it was too hot to close the window. It was very noisy in the corridor most of the night. You had to order breakfast the night before
