Nestled in Savannah, this charming house for $267 per night is a great choice for your next break. Traveler's Retreat is a quiet cottage on a beautiful neighborhood street in Historic Savannah. Just a few minutes walk from Forsyth Park, this Beach Institute gem is a refuge from the rush and the throngs of the downtown. Set back amongst the squares and side streets of Old Savannah, with its lush, private courtyard and cool, diffused light, our hope is that you will find that the Retreat is the perfect place to recharge after a long day of salt and sun on Tybee, or seeing the sights in downtown. The master bedroom has a custom made king bed, and en suite bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed, and the main bathroom has a clawfoot tub and shower. The kitchen is newly updated, with an electric range, oven, and microwave, and all the amenities you will need to make yourself at home. The couch in the living room folds out to comfortably sleep two more, and there is a dining room off of the kitchen that seats six. Washer/dryer, television, linens, towels, shampoo, body wash, and conditioner are provided. And if you are bringing equipment like kayaks, bikes, or items for the beach, we have a separate storage building on the property to keep your belonging secure without bringing the great outdoors inside with you. Traveler's Retreat is your private residence in Savannah, and it's good for couples, families with kids, and groups of friends.

This was a fantastic spot for a Savannah getaway at Christmas time. The house is well-located, well-equipped and even had a tremendous backyard patio. Spending the end of a sightseeing day under the palm trees is my idea of relaxing!

We really enjoyed our stay at the travelers retreat. Jack was a great host, his communication before our stay was great and he answered all of my questions. The home is very comfortable, the beds are comfy, kitchen is fully stocked and parking on the street was easy in December. Will definitely be using this page as a go to in Savannah!

Perfect location and layout of home. Two bedrooms and bathrooms with very comfortable beds. Tastefully decorated. We loved the fiber art on the walls and photos (I believe Ecuador or Peru?). Wish I had asked. It was a lovely stay and Jack was super helpful. We packed in the week with activities all around Savannah and SCAD Museum of Art and The Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum close by. This will be our go to rental when we visit Savannah again.

Great house and great location in the historic district. Within walking distance of all the sights. Well stocked, immaculate condition. Perfect size for two ladies. On street parking was always available. Will stay there again when visiting Savannah.

A great place that is super walkable. Parking was easy, check in and out was a breeze. Highly recommend staying here. My family and I had a wonderful time, we all enjoyed the home.

Travelers Retreat was very clean and cozy. Beds were very comfortable. Had everything we needed. Quiet neighborhood. Parking was a bit challenging. We walked downtown which I enjoyed. You can catch the trolley a couple blocks away which was also nice. We would stay there again.

The house was perfect fo me, my 20 year old granddaughter and her 21 year old boyfriend. We walked to all the places we wanted to see; Forsyth Park, Sorell/Weed house, River Street, and places featured in the book, "Midnight in the Garden of good and evil." The food was excellant! And I can't say enough positive things about the Host, Jack and the beautiful house. Everything was wonderful...It felt like home!

Great place. Close to stop 6 on the trolley tour. We just walked over and started the tour. We enjoyed the coziness of the place after being around the crowds. Very clean.

We booked this property for an entire month and absolutely loved our stay. It was hard to leave. The location was good, we walked 90% of the time. It was quiet, clean and comfy. We really enjoyed our private outside spaces; back courtyard and front porch with a swing. The host/owner was very nice and welcoming. Also, we felt very safe in the neighborhood.

Traveler’s retreat was the perfect spot to stay in Savannah. It’s walking distance (about 10-20 minutes walk) to everything in downtown Savannah, great location for walking and wandering around. Yet it’s off the main streets so it is quiet and cozy. Jack, the host, was extremely responsive, informative and kind. The house itself is adorable - very clean, well maintained and great decor. Comfy beds and living spaces. I will stay here again next time I’m visiting Savannah!

We stayed here for the weekend for a family wedding. The owner gave detailed information which made it very easy to find and access the property. Everything we needed was provided. The house was well equipped, very clean and comfortable. We’re had a car. Parking was free and easy to find on the street. We drove to the riverfront and restaurants because it was a bit of a walk. But Uber was an option too. We would stay here again.

Loved the house and location. Very cute, clean with plenty of room for 4 adults to move around. Very close to everything and a wonderful private backyard to relax in the evening and catch up with great friends. Thanks Jack for everything! Would stay again and definitely recommend.

My sisters and I had a great time at this property and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The area was quiet and close to all that we wanted to see in Savannah. We enjoyed our coffee in the private back courtyard one morning watching a visit from a hummingbird.We would definitely stay here again.

We love that this property was just as shown in pics. It was clean, comfortable and set up perfectly for 2 couples. It was close to everything so we enjoyed walking everywhere. The mattress in the main bedroom was very comfortable. In room two it was a bit soft but worked okay. The only negative was a slow draining shower in bath 2 and in the main the shower head was a bit tricky but neither of these were a big problem that we couldn't deal with. John did a great job communicating. Savannah is a beautiful city and this was such a great place to stay.

The property is walking distance from almost everything we wanted to see. A nice quiet neighborhood with numerous breakfast places just a few blocks away. Communication with the owner was easy and super prompt. The house was very clean! We recommend staying here!
