Jingle Bells Square House
We are located right in the heart of Savannah's Historic District. As is typical in Savannah, our property consists of two buildings: A main house and a carriage house located behind it. This listing is to rent our Main House. Built in 1885, our 2 story home is in a quiet residential neighborhood 50 yards from Troup Square. The home was carefully renovated/decorated to keep its historic charm. We even have 2 working fireplaces!

-- The Living Room has a comfortable, queen-size pullout sofa-bed—one that you would actually be happy sleeping on!—custom manufactured by Rowe Furniture in North Carolina, with “Air Dream” innerspring air mattress system. Comfortable chairs,a 55 inch high-definition flat screen TV, and a working fireplace
-- Open Kitchen/Dining Room. The Dining Room has an antique trestle dining table that seats six, a 48” high-definition flat screen TV and a second working fireplace
-- Full Gourmet Kitchen - quartz countertops, full-size stainless steel refrigerator, gas range, dishwasher, microwave
-- There is a half-bath on the first floor, and a full-size desk with Aeron chair for remote work
-- Private Screened Porch outside the back door
On the Second Floor:
-- Front Bedroom - with two Twin Beds, flat screen TV and an en-suite bathroom with tub/shower combination
-- Rear Bedroom - a Queen-Size Bed, flat screen TV and an en-suite bathroom with custom shower

There is on-street parking in our neighborhood, we do not have a designated parking spot. We currently have metered parking on our side of the street (the side the house is on) and non-metered (free) parking across the street. Metered parking is enforced from 8am-5pm Monday-Friday. PLEASE TAKE NOTE of the posted signs with street sweeping days/times no matter where you park so you don’t get a ticket!

We loved every part of our stay in this gorgeous historical home. It was well appointed and had two bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths, especially with a home that is 140 years old. The kitchen was awesome and had everything we needed. They even left us a little bowl of snacks when we arrived. During our stay, the temperatures were in the high 80s low 90s and high humidity. The home stayed nice and cool with overhead fans and air-conditioning. I usually don’t sleep well away from home and I slept like a baby. I wasn’t sure what the parking would be like, but it was no issue. We parked across the street from the side of the home is on for free the entire time. There was one morning from 3 AM to 6 AM. That street sweeping was happening so we moved the car the night before after 5 PM in front of the home and then moved it back across the street before the 8 AM, parking monitoring started. It was no big deal and easy. The home had everything you could need, and in my opinion was centrally located to everything we wanted to see within walking distance. Lyft was easy to get when we didn’t want to walk to bother with parking in busy areas. We spent a morning out at Tibby Island, which was lovely. I would recommend going early in the morning for good parking. We went to the north part of the island and it was picturesque. I hope to come back to Savannah again somtime soon and will absolutely rebook this home!

The property was really nice and well stocked. The only issue was the 17 stairs that were straight up, I have stairs at home but nothing like these. The stairs are impossible to navigate for older or overweight people. My sister was unable to see the upstairs due to knee issues. We loved the screened in back porch and the location was great. The check in was horrible, vrbo emailed us the wrong entry code with no response when trying to reach them.
