About this house rental
Located in Balboa Peninsula, this charming house for $446 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Please kindly send us an email prior to booking to confirm availability for your dates. We require at least a 7 night minimum in the Summer months (June-August). Our little Spanish Cottage is clean, bright and close to everything that makes Newport Beach spectacular. Steps to the sand and walkable to all of the best restaurants, bars, shopping and local attractions. After a fun day in the sun, enjoy our charming little Spanish Cottage all to yourself. This is a comfortable home with all the modern upgrades including, hi-speed internet, central AC/Heat, cable TV, Sony flat screen in the master bedroom (just bring your Netflix/hulu login), and a spacious kitchen. The Master bedroom has a queen bed suitable for a couple, or comfortable for one person. The second bedroom setup has 2 twin beds. The front patio is perfect for outside dining or lounging. You will also enjoy having a designated parking spot onsite for convenience to come and go as you please. Reserved parking in the Summer months is a real plus! We also provide beach towels, beach chairs, and access to onsite full size washer and dryer. This cottage is perfect for a couple's getaway, family vacation, and/or ideal for long term or short term business stays. Please kindly email before booking. The house was great and met all of our needs. My kids (age 3 and 6) had a great time and loved exploring. Having parking onsite was a life saver and AC also. We were walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. Removing a star for check in process since we didn't receive the code to get in for 20 minutes after the listed check in time and had to follow up for it. Other than that, all communication was great and they provided a ton of recommendations which was helpful since this was our first time in Newport Beach.

This was our second time renting this property, it's very clean, there is onsite parking in the alley, it's only a block and a half to the boardwalk and beach, the grocery store is less than a block away and Lido is walkable. The home has has everything you need and the kitchen is updated.
It's good for our young family (kids 6 & 4) but I could see a challenge with multiple adults and the single bathroom. I wish we could use the grill and fire pit as that would add to the experience but nothing is lost by not having it. We do wish there was at least an extra love seat in the living room but again right now our kids are young so squeezing us all onto the small sofa was fine. We've been back two years in a row now and will rent again and recommend to anyone looking to stay in Newport Beach.

We had a great time in Newport, I have gone 15 years and i must say this location was the best, you can walk to everything. I was walking to Pavilions every morning for groceries which is only 2 blocks away. We will for sure come back.

Perfect Beach Cottage!
We had a fantastic time at the Spanish cottage by the beach. Brian and Jill are wonderful hosts; communication was excellent and we felt very well prepared for our stay. The cottage is adorable - impeccably decorated and very clean. Our small family of three had more than enough space, and we enjoyed being a short two block walk to the beach. Plenty of towels, beach towels, etc., as well as a wagon to haul your stuff to the beach. There are lots of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance, and even more within biking distance (since bikes are THE way to get around Newport Beach!). Having a dedicated parking space was awesome, particularly since parking on the Balboa Peninsula during peak times can be challenging. We parked our car when we arrived and didn't drive again until we left - we walked to a bike rental store and rode those for our entire stay. We loved riding along the Boardwalk, and enjoyed taking our bikes to the ferry and heading over to Balboa Island for a day. Our only regret is that we had to return to real life (and our real jobs) far too soon. We would absolutely stay here again, and I am already figuring out when we can return to Newport Beach. Great House Great Location!
We loved having a long weekend staycation. This is such a great location, walking distance to everything you need (including a 2min walk to the beach). The hosts were responsive and easy. It looks like a brand new home inside. We'll be back!

Fantastic cottage by the beach!
Our family of four really enjoyed Brian and Jill's beach house. The location was great. Two blocks to the beach and a block to tons of shops and restaurants. We appreciated how clean and nicely decorated the place was. We used the beach cart with beach chairs and boogie boards and were so happy we didn't have to rent them since we flew in from Phoenix. We would totally stay here again. Thank you!

Great location, very clean!
We had a wonderful time staying at the house. The location is great for quick trips to the beach and despite it being closer to bars, restaurants, busier roads, it’s tucked in a prime spot and very quiet at night.

Great getaway
Stayed here with my two kids over their Spring Break and had a very enjoyable time. Perfect location for the price. Walking distance to every restaurant and the beach. They had a well stocked kitchen with all the amenities needed to enjoy your stay, including beach chairs, towels and beach wagon to pack it all in.

Excellent Beach cottage stay
We loved our stay from start to finish! Brian and Jill were excellent and helpful hosts. The property was very close to the beach and many restaurants. The bungalow had very comfortable accommodations- the mattress in the master bedroom was the most comfortable we’ve ever slept on! Lovely decor! Plenty of beach towels, chairs and toys. We will be back!

Location, location, location
This was our second stay in this cottage. We love being able to park our car and walk everywhere-the beach, grocery store, and restaurants. We bring our bikes and ride to neighboring Huntington Beach as well as rent kayaks and paddle boards from Balboa Fun Tours (within walking distance to cottage).
Cottage is clean and has a well equipped kitchen as well as beach equipment to borrow. The air conditioning came in handy when there was a hot couple of days. Highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful long weekend escape
My family and I had an incredible weekend stay! Communication from the owners was great and we had everything we needed to have a fun and relaxing beach escape. This house was clean, cozy, cute, and the location was excellent. Our kids loved borrowing the boogie boards and sand toys! We spent many, many hours at the beach. We would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Newport Beach!

Great location for family vacation to Newport Beach
Our family of four enjoyed our stay in the 2 bedroom and 1 bathroom house. The house is in perfect location for walking to beach, restaurants, and shops. Real close to Pavilions grocery store too.
House comes with beach umbrella, four beach chairs, and beach towels making going to the beach a breeze.
House also comes with washer and dryer, which we used during our stay.
Our family will definitely stay here again if in the area.

Another great stay
My wife and our 2 kids had another outstanding stay in this cottage. As we've come to expect the owners are attentive and available. The cottage itself is awesome. Proximity to beach is perfect. The a/c keeps the house cool as you enjoy the warm beach. The furnishings allow for an at home feel. Having the garage to park your car in provides a great convenience. Walking distance to everything! We love this place.

Everything we'd hoped for!
Cottage was perfect for my wife and I, and our two boys (9 and 11). The boys had their own beds and bedroom (super important), and our bedroom was great too. Comfy beds. Kitchen was well appointed. BBQ was a nice touch. Front patio was a great place to have a drink in the evening. And it's just a block-and-a half from beautiful Newport Beach. Garage was a life-saver, as street parking is very competitive since it's a popular spot for the OC public to park to go to the beach for the day. The garage IS quite small, so I'd recommend a smallish rental car. A large SUV or truck WILL NOT fit! Just a 25 min drive from Disneyland too.

Cute cottage
This was perfect for our weekend stay. This cottage is nicely kept, comfortable & clean (not fussy and a perfect size for us). The Location was close to the beach, restaurants & everything we needed was within walking distance.
Owners were nearby if we were to need anything. They gave a list of local hot spots.
Everything was ready if we wanted to cook/BBQ. We didn’t this time but, might on the next trip.

Clean, cute and convenient
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cute cottage. Brian and Jill were wonderful. They were in touch with us throughout our stay to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. It is only a block away from the beach and close to many great things to do. Very nice house with a great location and Five Star Service!
The house itself was fantastic. Perfect for a family of four and would also be great for a vacationing couple. Beach is only a few minutes walk away, restaurants/bars/coffee shops within walking distance as well. Others had mentioned the garage, we rented a Nissan Altima and had no problems getting it in and out and it was great not to have to worry about parking. Communication with the owners was great from the moment we booked and Brian was there to meet us when we got into town, he was very helpful and later also gave us some great local recommendations. Beautiful part of the country and hard to imagine a better setup than this!

Fantastic location and super accommodations
Wife and kids all agreed that this place is awesome! The kids were able to have lots of beach time and the teenager even discovered the virtues of using a wet suit! Thanks again to the owners for being so helpful. Definitely recommend!

Ideal location
Spacious, clean, quiet, light and open floor plan cottage in safe walking neighborhood steps to the beach (cross one road which is usually not busy). I loved how bright and open this little house was. The kitchen was large and had everything we needed to make meals. The bed was comfortable. We had to get used to the lack of window coverings on most windows...this seems to be common as other houses had few window coverings too. The neighbors were friendly. It was a perfect house for walking along the beach, walking to restaurants and then coming home to a quiet home to relax. Jill was easy to work with and responded quickly to messages. I highly recommend this cottage...it is wonderful and reasonably priced.
