Situated in Montauk, this lovely house for $1,000 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Our recently re-modeled, charming, New England style shingled, 5 bedroom home, is nestled in a quiet neighborhood, and perfectly situated near all that makes Montauk paradise! The open-floor living area has a great room with vaulted ceiling, 4 sky-lights and south-facing large bay window that floods the area with natural light. It has exposed beams and features a floor-to-ceiling fireplace made from local stones, hand-picked by our family. It has just been painted and has solid hickory flooring and a remote-controlled Fujitsu air conditioner to keep you just the right temperature. With large, comfortable leather seating for 10, a 42 inch, flat-sceen HDTV with cable, Blu-ray player, and a desk, the great room makes the perfect gathering spot to relax, check your email via WiFi, play games, watch movies, talk about your day, or plan the next! The dining area features hickory flooring, a pine farm-table with seating for up to 10-12 people and dimmable lighting, so you can achieve just the right mood for your occasion. Steps away, the open kitchen area, allows your family or group to mingle and enjoy conversation together while preparing meals. It has new granite countertops and stainless appliances, including side-by-side refrigerator/freezer, double oven, dishwasher and microwave. A glass cooktop is in the over-sized granite island with breakfast-bar seating for 3. A coffee-maker, toaster, can-opener, blender for smoothies or mixed drinks, and Kitchen Aid mixer, ensure your comfort and convenience. The kitchen also has a 5 panel bay window so you can keep an eye on the kids in the backyard, or watch an amazing array of colorful birds, including cardinals, red-wing blackbirds, blue jays, black-cap chickadees, Baltimore orioles, woodpeckers, gold finches, hawks, an occasional owl! The first floor master has air-conditioning, a wrought-iron, 4-poster, king sized bed with pillow-top mattress, two his-and-hers 48 inch wide closets, hickory flooring and beautiful french doors opening out to a private cedar deck with zen-like feel. The master bath features a two person soaking tub, and separate stall shower. A second bedroom on this level has air-conditioning, a queen sized pillow top mattress and flat screen TV with cable. Steps away, the guest bath is recently re-modeled and features an oversized soaking tub/shower. The second floor of the house has three bedrooms, a book exchange, beautiful hickory hardwood flooring installed in 2018, and a spa-like full bathroom with large glass shower enclosure, rain shower head and two vanities! The first upstairs bedroom is large and has air-conditioning, a king sized Euro-top bed, with TV/cable, and a leather seating area. The second upstairs bedroom has air-conditioning, flat screen TV/with Fire stick, a large closet and skylight, with 2 twin beds. The twin beds in this room can easily be pushed together to accommodate an adult couple. The third upstairs bedroom has air-conditioning, hardwood floors, a new queen bed, leather sofa and a large closet. Besides the private deck off the master, there is a large cedar deck at the front of the house, a brick patio with outdoor dining for 12 people and large gas Weber grill. The backyard is fenced and dogs will be considered. There is a new12 piece outdoor seating set with propane fire pit. There is a 6 person jacuzzi with overhead pergola and optional privacy curtains, and a large outdoor shower so you can clean up after the beach! A true Montauk experience! We have off-street parking for up to four cars. There are two over-flow spots for daytime guests.

Sharon and Burt are wonderful and welcoming hosts. We felt at home from the moment that Sharon met us with the keys on check-in day. The home and beautiful outdoor spaces are exactly as advertised and shown on the VRBO website: spacious, homey, clean, and comfortable. The bedrooms are all of a good size, as are the updated bathrooms. Everything was as we hoped it would be, and our two week stay was perfect. We are already looking forward to a return visit in summer 2023!

This is our second summer staying at Sharon and Burt’s house. We love it. The house is perfect for my extended family of 10. The house comes well equipped with everything you need for a week away. Any questions and Sharon is very responsive. Burt was also very generous to drop off some fish he caught. All in all a very pleasant stay and would highly recommend this property.

The property was as listed. It was clean, comfortable & well appointed. It had everything you could need. The gardens were beautiful & the backyard fenced in. There was plenty of space for togetherness or to find a quiet corner to read or be alone. It is convenient to anywhere in Montauk. We had a wonderful vacation.

The best Vrbo
We’ve stayed in several homes and motels in montauk over the last 40 years. Sharon and Burt’s home met our every need. Great location, amazing outdoor space with fenced in yard for our dog. The hot tub and outdoor shower were perfect. The home had so many touches that made the stay relaxing and Sharon and Burt were available for every question. The 2 beautiful bedrooms on the first floor made it easy to share this vacation with the older generation in our family. The living space beautifully fit our party of 10! Can’t wait to go back!

Summer stay in paradise
I rented this property in August with my parents, sister and her family and my family. The house was perfect for our stay. It was a great location. Close to town and a short walk to the beach. Plenty of space to spread out in the house. Lovely backyard with a hot tub for all to enjoy. I would highly recommend this property,

Great week in MTK
Sharon & Burt’s home was fantastic for our group of 7! We were welcomed with fresh flowers and a bottle of rosé. They thought of everything we could need- from beach chairs and umbrellas to filled propane tanks for the bbq. The hot tub and fire pit were the perfect end to beach days! Sharon was easily reachable if we had any questions and offered great recommendations for surfboard rentals and where to catch live music. We will definitely be returning to Sharon & Burt’s home again!

Burt and Sharon are the friendliest and loveliest people to rent from. We had a lovely week and enjoyed our stay. Sharon left a lovely box of doughnuts from the store in town that my 3 year old grandson loved decorating and eating. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and we enjoyed playing can jam in the yard. The bottle of wine that Sharon had waiting for us upon arrival was so thoughtful and we enjoyed it with dinner. We look forward to renting again in the future.

Burt and Sharon are the friendliest and loveliest people to rent from. We had a lovely week and enjoyed our stay. Perfect home for a family trip!
Our family spent two weeks at Sharon and Burts home and had the best time ever! The house is very spacious and has everything you need. Sharon was very warm, welcome accommodating and was always available for any questions. We’ve been staying in Montauk for over 20 years and this was one of our most memorable and enjoyable trips. Our dogs also thought so too! Hope to come back again!

my stay was terrific-the property owners could not have been more helpful and responsive. The house is perfect for a family with lots of room to gather inside and out. The yard is a terrific oasis, calm and peaceful with lots of space to lounge and sit. I would return without hesitation!

Sharon and Bert were amazing hosts and their property was great. I stayed at the home with a large group and there was enough space for all of us and our dogs loved running around in the fenced off backyard. We felt very safe that the backyard was secure so we were able to enjoy watching them roam the property. We will definitely be looking to rent the property again.

Great house
We had a great stay at Sharon's house. Kids loved the spacious backyard, ping pong, and other games. House was about a 15 - 20 minute walk to Ditch Plains Beach or 5 minute care ride. Sharon was quick to respond to any questions, and her husband Burt even dropped off some thrasher shark for us to grill after a successful fishing expedition!
