We have stayed at the Sea Lavie before and also had a fabulous time. The breakfast options are very good and the location is great for access to some great restaurants and bars. There is also a fantastic and very affordable (same day) laundry service available in the cafe directly across the road from the hotel which made it even more convenient and the wonderful Resort staff were very helpful in organising a taxi back to Danange airport on my day of departure, making the whole experience completely stress free. If you're staying in An Bang make sure you visit the Surf and Turf Bar and Restaurant just a few meters from Sea Lavie... you won't be disappointed with the experience and Matt's friendly service team. Tell them "Hi" from me! :)
Unfortunately the beach access is still under some construction at the resort so I was unable to to just walk down for a morning swim. There is access further down the road... it was only a little inconvenient but worth it.

Staff are incredible and very helpful, were wonderful with our kids and answered lots of questions for us. Breakfast is good! Try the Coconut coffee! Also the restaurant directly across the road is amazing!
Value for money is great here, the beach out the front has had a big storm but if you go down to the end of the road (north end) and walk down onto beach, you can get to the end of An Bang main beach which is lots of action and sunlounges. Also in the other direction, not long by bicycle, you can find hidden beach.
