Nestled in Anchorage, this lovely house for $308 per night is a great option for your next vacation. This is a single family home with 3 sleeping rooms and a study; I king bed and 2 queens. This home is amazing inside and in the center of Anchorage. Conveniently located next to University and Hospitals. My family and I have world traveled and prioritize what we like when we travel. 1. Excessively clean - See pictures- And now we have added Hospital EPA "N list" approved HOCL fogging down to 5 microns between guests for added sanitizing. This is an exceptional measure of clean to ease the stress of your stay. 2. Something different from home (Classic museum canvas art through the home and lighted interactive art) 3. Location (located in an established family neighborhood) not a main street or commercial area. 4. Relaxing (Double shower with 8 adjustable shower head, like a human car wash) 5. Workout facilities with treadmill, elliptical, tanning bed and free weights. 6. Value (created to surpass any high-end presidential suite in a hotel) We have incorporated all of this into this property and we are excited to be a part of your adventure.

This is by far our favorite place to stay. The home is gorgeous and immaculate with an abundance of wonderful amenities. The host added so many thoughtful touches to make your stay memorable and completely comfortable. For example they use free and clear laundry products for the towels and linens. My husband is allergic to perfumes and dyes so this was a great relief for us. There were plenty of high quality coffee, bath products, soaps and cleaners available for us to use. We loved this beautiful home and are looking forward to returning.

From the wine waiting in the refrigerator, to the daily clearing of snow from walkways and driveways to the delivery of garbage bags in the middle of the night to the delicious loaf of bread dropped off, just because,,,,,all of our desires were catered to enthusiastically! The house is impeccable, incredibly comfortable and most importantly, usable. There is so much that the house has to offer that even with a 10 day, there were rooms in the house that we didn’t explore. There is a lot of technology in the house, with mood lighting, mood music, and visual experiences, but that was welcome and just added to the desire to stay there again. The kitchen, bathrooms and laundry room are well stocked and easy to maneuver. The bed that was used was very comfortable and the ambient temperature was easily controlled. The upstairs shower is amazing and reached parts of my body that have apparently been neglected for years. The heated bathroom floor and toilet seats were a soothing (if not initially startling) addition! All in all, the entire stay was incredible from beginning to end and I intend on visiting the house many more times during my work trips to Anchorage!

The VERY BEST vacation property where we have ever stayed! We wouldn’t change a single thing! The home is even better than the pictures ... spotlessly clean, modern, and tastefully decorated. It has everything you'd dream of including features like a specialty espresso machine, tanning bed, expansive exercise facility, multiple gathering rooms, and high-tech lighting. James, the owner, has thought of EVERYTHING, and he was very responsive, even allowing an early check-in to drop luggage. We loved the attention to detail in every room of the house. Our party of 5 adults had plenty of space. The kitchen was incredibly stocked and every wish was covered. We've already recommended the property to friends and family considering Anchorage. Absolutely our first choice for our next trip to Alaska!

This house has it all. Everything is state of the art. James the owner was fantastic to work with - especially when we had some complications with our travel. He worked with us on the fly, easing our worries about having a place to stay.

This is a beautiful property. The description does not do it justice. Very high tech, modern, clean and extremely central location. Quiet neighborhood. Everything you want and need in an excellent VRBO listing. We have stayed in tons of VRBO’s throughout the years and this is one of the best.

James is super responsive, very thoughtful, he for sure can write a book on hospitality, I have traveled to 34 countries, this stay experience was simply the best.

The house is very conveniently located, near the city and accessible to different excursions to Eklutna Lake, Portage Glacier and Matanuska Glacier
The house is modern, very nicely decorated. There are blinds to ensure comfort while sleeping. We enjoyed spending the day visiting and cooking at home at night. The kitchen is very well equipped and we were also able to BBQ. We simply loved the place and would recommend and come back. James and Christine were also very helpful. Thanks!

The house was outstanding. It exceeded our expectations in every way. The living spaces were clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully furnished with all the amenities one could ask for.

The best VRBO Ive ever booked. Very pleased we selected this one. If we come back to Anchorage it will be here. The homeowners live right next door and are super sweet and attentive. Location is 15 minutes from everything. 1970s tract house but completely remodeled and updated inside. House is spotless and immaculate. High end everything, particularly the coffer maker and shower. We didnt want to leave.

We travel a lot and this was the best home we have ever rented. It is beautiful, spotless, great neighborhood and over the top with tech and amenities. The owner had great communication leading up to the rental and in fact I text him many questions about the area and recommendations and he answered all my questions and added the links.

We loved staying at this property. The host did a fantastic job with communicating with us prior to our trip. The house interior appears to have been professionally designed. Everything is organized and functional. We had 2 couples with us during this stay, and everyone is taking ideas from this house, to implement in our own home. Just as described
I have spend my fair share of time in B&B’s and this one was exactly as pictured and described.
Very clean, decorated perfectly and every amenity that you could imagine (plus some). I loved the heated bathroom floors. James even had Champagne waiting for our arrival, that was a nice touch after a long flight.
I had read in the reviews that the owner lived next door and it bothered them for privacy reasons. James and his family does live next door but we had zero privacy Issues. Please don’t let this small detail keep you from renting the property. James was a great host and the property truly had everything you could need in a rental. We had more than enough room for 4 people and would happily stay again. Thank you James for sharing your home with us.

Excellent Stay
The house is top notch and better than any high end hotel. The details are impressive and too many to list. You will find a beautiful, clean home with very comfortable beds and a spa-like shower. The host is attentive and available if needed. I travel to Anchorage often and will be staying here when possible. My teenage kids loved it. You will not be disappointed. I never write reviews, but am so impressed with this place!

What a wonderful home and stay. Issues after stay
The outside of this rental home doesn't do justice to what it looks like in the inside. Once opening the door and walking throughout it was amazing. Everything looked fresh and smelled fresh. The owner even had a bottle of champagne on the kitchen counter for us upon arrival. He had any and everything you can think of already in the home. If you didn't have something he was just a text away and he left it at your door step for you. He even came over to help explain how some of the items worked in the house since we was struggling trying to figure it out. It was a little creepy opening up the back blinds since he did live next door. Not to say he was watching but just wanted to make sure we had the privacy we hoped for.
After our stay it was brought to our attention by the owner that we didn't leave the place at his expectation. He named several things that was damaged, broken, or wasn't cleaned. He charged additional cleaning fees that added up to also 6xs the amount of what the cleaning fees are when booking. I messaged him back explaining that in our past stay at other rentals we normally would've tidied up a little more but we ran out of time. That's why before leaving I read the rules and guidelines again of this rental listing to see what the cleaning expectations were. Also their was a booklet on the table in the living area that explained the rules as well. No where it said the kitchen had to be spotless or couldn't leave items in the fridge. It didn't say anything about cleaning the place at all. Since we ran out of time and knowing we already paid a cleaning fee at booking we left in a hurry. As far as things broken or damaged and needed to be replaced, I messaged the owner to send us a breakdown on how he came up with the total amount of these additional fees. Also he said pictures were taken for proof so I asked for those as well. It's been about 2 weeks and still haven't received anything. Not even a message stating it was going to be sent shortly. VRBO has no option on the site to depute these additional charges. The card is just charged within 3 business days after the owner request the amount. Overall a great stay. Just make sure you leave the place spotless because excessive fees will be applied if not.

An Excellent Example of Luxury and Elegance
When it comes to describing this property, the word "luxurious" doesn't begin to scratch the surface. Everything about my family's stay was a wonderful experience! From the high quality furniture, to the fully stocked kitchen, to the amenities that made us say "Wow!", everything about this house made me and my family feel like we were right at home during our trip in Alaska. Our hosts, the Dennis Family, were very accommodating and welcoming. From maintaining excellent communication before, during, and after our stay, to providing first-class hospitality every step of the way. My only wish is that I could leave more than 5 stars. We hope to visit here in the future, should we find our way back up to Alaska!
