Nice location (at 1000m altitude it was great to escape the heat in the valley around Lake Ttitsee). Comfortable spacious room with balcony overlooking the front garden/terrace. Very clean . Restaurant on site.
Good buffet breakfast.
Overcomplicated way of checking in and obtaining the key (we were advised the day of arrival that reception would not be staffed). This could be tricky for late arrivals. This is the only hotel (in a series of some 9) where you had to quote the full long booking reference and all info on both passports (tedious to do on a raised screen in the corner of the reception).
Over abundance of emails (10 to my recollection) once hotel was booked the day before. One even suggested to go on another link to check in on line and in these days of spams or frauds on Booking.com his was not helpful.
Limited parking for the size of hotel (and compared to hotel next door)
The restaurant on-site is run by a separate organisation to the hotel and basically they do not have any information on hotel issues such a checking ins. Frustrating.
