Location is superb! Overall hotel is very nice, room was quite spacious for this location. Bed was comfortable. Staff is overall friendly.
1. Once the room was cleaned at 4 pm, we considered it as late especially because we left the room very early morning. 2. I needed to call the reception to ask for the shower cap. Not sure if it is policy or not, but good to have it in the room. 3. Some staff in the bar was not friendly really.

Location for me was excellent. I had a very quiet room which was great. I didn’t use any other facility other than luggage drop off and pick up storage I did like the fact there were items in the mini bar, complimentary…juices water proper milk snacks like olives. Good coffee machine too
The steps in the room. I would strongly recommend management / maintenance uses them with bare feet. I understand why there is a hard wood border on them, to protect the carpet from wear. However, in bare feet, which is normal for a lot of the time in a small sized room, bathing, going to bed, night bathroom trip etc.. the wood means stepping on the step especially downwards is impossible and if you do, extremely uncomfortable and painful making it dangerous. I either stepped sideways or missed the step entirely. Anyone less agile could find it difficult and dangerous.
This seems like a small thing. It did put a “dampener” the room for Me as I had to be conscious of it, every time.

Clean rooms and bathrooms were modern with good showers. Location is good for west-end working or tourist visits.
- "Service charge" on check out seems like a stealth tax on the room which is not the norm for London, especially when the staff friendliness itself was lukewarm.
- AC was almost non-existent so the room was unbearably warm.
- Standard room size is very small and the facilities are basic for the price - amazing to me that this is a 5-star hotel.
