Excellent with a little surprise on check out.

Everything went well until check out

At check out I was advised of an additional 10% service charge over and above the what I thought was the all inclusive taxes and charges I agreed on the booking.com site. As I was in a rush I did not question but thought this was a bit of bait and switch practice and should have been disclosed at time of booking. Did not leave a good taste on what was otherwise an excellent experience.

Comfortable stay in London

Superb, LOVED it and can’t wait to return!

Superb! First time at a Como hotel, and am bowled over. The staff are exemplary, and they are what makes this such a wonderful hotel. It is because of Arjun in particular, that I will now try to stay at a Como wherever I go. Arjun has really made this the perfect five star experience for us, from the moment of welcome. Our standard room was of classic 5-star hotel standards and very spacious, with a huge shower, spacious bathroom, and had everything that every good 5 star provides with very good quality bedroom slippers, bathrobes and vanity kit. Mini bar was very well-stocked: half bottle of Taittinger champagne, Chablis, beers and liquors, and good quality tea, coffee. Housekeeping staff are all fantastic, and very fast in delivering any items requested. Breakfast was the BEST I’ve ever had in London!!! Served in natural daylight from a translucent pyramid ceiling, which is a beautiful way to wake up. Many clean, lean and healthy menu options which are perfect for alkaline, vegan, vegetarian, or calorie-controlled diets, or for those into health and wellness. The staff are absolutely fantastic at breakfast, warm, polite, friendly, professional. Nothing was too much trouble. My full English breakfast with a side of avocado was perfect, with extremely good quality ingredients. We were served a complimentary shot of “blood building” juice to start, which was delicious. I ordered my own concoction of celery, cucumber, lettuce and lemon, which was also delicious because of the quality of the ingredients. The peppermint tea is also very high quality. So happy with my stay! And can’t wait to be back!

Interior design is not the best - shower, although big, was flooding and a pool of water on the floor each time we had a shower. There were no USB ports by the bedside for a hotel of this calibre, only a power point (UK point) but it was not next to the bed, but by the side of the bed head rather than at the bedside table (short charging leads don’t reach the bed).

Central, moderno, agradável e cheio de charme!

O staff foi fantástico super simpático e cordeal, gostei muito dos quartos com vista e a minha família estava perto de tudo, central em Londres.

Preferia que o pequeno almoço fosse Buffet e não a Lá Carte, demorava um pouco e nem sempre as opções eram claras.

One of the best stays I ever had in London

The location, service and staff was amazing. The whole process from check in to check out was pleasant and straight forward. Maryam at the front desk was very welcoming & helpful which made the experience a nice one from the second I walked in, she gave me an early check in, she allowed me to see the room before confirming it and was kind enough to upgrade me free of charge. When your journey starts in such a positive way, it makes the rest of the stay pleasant. I would surely come back and stay there again.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at.. never again!

The standard bathroom is ridiculously small; there's barely enough space to even close the door! When I brought it up to the receptionists, they claimed that all standard bathrooms are like that, as if it was my fault for booking a standard room! It's frustrating that they seem to be punishing people who opt for a standard room!

Great friendly staff who welcomed us warmly.

It would be good to have a larger lounge in reception with a bar or coffee snacks available.

Spotless, clean and helpful staff

Everyone on the staff was very kind and helpful. Room was absolutely spotless. I usually get allergies in hotels (stuffy nose from rugs, dust, and whatever else) but this was the first time I didn't have that problem. The bed was very comfortable, the location was perfect for me (concerts at Hyde Park, it's barely a 5 minute walk). The floor in the bathroom was nice and warm. Very quiet. There are power outlets for UK, US and EU, no need to bring an adapter. If you need an umbrella, there is one in the closet, along with a robe, slippers and a shoehorn. Big full figure mirror and one at the desk. Good water pressure in the shower. Very efficient AC, fairly quiet too. I liked the light and bright colors in this room. But the staff was what I remember the most from my stay. They were always willing to help.

I'll be very frank with the things I disliked, because at this price range I'd expect near enough "perfection" and that was not my experience, unfortunately. I'm allergic to down/feathers and requested any other kind of pillows. When I checked the pillows before going to bed - I found that EVERYTHING in the bed was filled with goose-down - pillows and duvet. I'm lucky I checked. On the positive side: they brought me new pillows quickly. Unreliable WiFi, the first day, it either only worked a few minutes at a time or not at all. On the third day of my stay, it worked almost perfectly. The extra magnifying mirror in the bathroom was mounted very high and could not be adjusted to us that aren't that tall. Old water from previous guests was still in the coffeemaker and the kettle (unless it's deliberate so the guest doesn't have to fill up the water?). The room controls: If you find yourself having clicked "off" on every lamp that's mentioned in the control tablet, yet the mini bar light is still on (and there is no button on the wall anywhere either) here's a free tip for you so you don't have to make that extra call to the front desk: Turn off everything on the "Master" button, then just turn on the lights that you want one by one. There is no on-off control for the mini bar on the wall or the tablet. I couldn't find any prices for anything in the room/minibar, it was probably hidden somewhere in the controls, I just never found it. I assumed that the tea and coffee was included, but I would have liked clear information. The TV seemed to be stuck on the wall (I usually bring a HDMI cable to watch my streaming programs but I couldn't access anything in the back of the TV, and the other controls were a bit too hi-tech for me to figure out. And last detail, which might be deliberate if it's a feng-shui thought behind it, is that there are no USB/outlets near the bed.

موقع الفندق ممتااااز والغرف كبيرة ونظيفه و5 ستار بكل شيء واسرع نت Wi fi عندهم الشيء الوحيد مافي بهو شرح في استقبال الفندق فقط كاونتر ومصعد وكم كرسي ماتليق بفخامة الغرف، واساعتمده بكل زياراتي بلندن للنظافته وموقعه وكبر الغرف ومقارنة سعره بالفنادق المجاورة خمس نجوم يعتبر مناسب

ياخذو مبلغ زيادة عن الحجز في بوكنق ب 300 جنية استرليني عند الدخول وايضا اذا جيت تعمل تشك اوت ياخذو مبلغ اخر بقرابة 200 جنية ،،، انتبهو لاتقولو للاستقبال اطلب لنا تكسي وانتم مازلتم بالغرفه ؟؟ ترى تركبو التكسي تتفاجئو فاتح العداد بدايته 20 جنيه موثلاثه ونص حسب النطام تسال السواق ليش يقولك رسوم انتظار كل دقيقه بجنية قرابة خمس ريال سعودي !! الحل انزل الاستقبال وكلم العامل يجيب التكسي واركب مباشره لان مواقف التكسي جنب الفندق ..

Ultra comfortable luxury stay, suitable for making business trips enjoyable.

Great location, friendly and professional staff (Fidel) and the spa services were fantastic. I loved that Nobu restaurant was accessible from the guest room elevators.

Check in was not as smooth as I would have preferred, however the front desk was very accommodating with storing luggage and arranging a room when the original one I booked was unavailable for certain reasons. The breakfast room is not that aesthetically pleasing, it feels slightly confined and not as luxurious as you might expect for COMO. However hotels in London are generally limited with space so it was to be expected somehow.
