So much! It smells wonderful!
Driving onto the property - beautiful.
The staff was kind, helpful, funny and more than knowledgable. I even learned where to buy a new flat iron!
Indoor and outdoor parking was right beside the elevator.
The pool area was spacious with many loungers. There was sunny and shady areas so you could suntan or snooze.
The breakfast was great. So many options - they were all so good it was hard to choose! We had a la carte lunch by the pool and dinner on the terrace - both were reasonable and delicious.
The view from our room and the terrace was spectacular.
The actual town of Lamego also gives points to this property. It has great restaurants and cultural attractions.
We were sad to leave.
The only thing that I would suggest is the addition of luggage racks and/or a bureau in the room. There wasn’t a lot of surface area / storage / closets in the actual room and bathroom.

The hotel was very asthetic and the room was amazing. The staff is also very friendly.
The fact that the outside pool was warm was a plus.
Another thing is that if you do the check in online and keep the session you can order stuff directly from the website and also open doors. It's amazing ahah
We decided to have dinner on the hotel restaurant but it wasn't very good. The staff was very nice to us but lacked proper trainning. They looked lost and it seamed like it was their first day of work. They took a lot of time to come to our table and they forgot our couvert.

The location, the staff, the common space, good and diverse breakfast, large indoor swimming pool. Plenty of beds in the swimming pool lounge area.
Very hot room (winter time) and impossible to turn the temperature down (just by opening the window). The indoor swimming pool could be 2-3 C higher. the ambient temperature in lounge area was cold and not very pleasant and despite the fact that they provide tea and water, in the afternoon there were no longer clean glasses or mugs. The vegetarian option on the ‘comendador’ restaurant was very poor quality.
