Very nice hotel, clean and luxurious.
The beach was a disaster. Not the hotel"s fault but enough to make us to delete it from future visits.

We are a family of three based in Dubai. We have extensive traveling experience from almost 150 countries and territories. It was our third time in Romania, and Iaki was the last stop on a long road We went to Iaki to relax for one night and not explore. Unfortunately the room was not ready on arrival until after 3pm. Although nothing was technically wrong about what was being said at the reception (yes, we acknowledge that check-in time is given as 4pm) but, based on visits to almost 1500 properties around the world, end eight on this trip alone, the whole checking in process did not make us as welcomed as it should. It is also part of the story that twice we had to go back for new keys to enter the room for the first time. It seemed the reception did not believe us (the second time I even made a video of the failure to open the door). They sent a security man with us. Of course he also failed. It only worked when two technicians came. We have to say though that for once we stayed at a hotel which felt like and deserved to be a 4-star property. Iaki felt upscale and stylish. The pool is not bad and the beach was very nice (although shared with many others). The strip with hotels did not generate the same feeling of overdevelopment as elsewhere in the region. Actually, the opposite. It was very nice to walk up and down the strip in rhe evening. Although relatively «sleepy», and maybe boring for some, we loved it after having experienced low-end masstourism elsewhere. Overall, we find the hotel decent value for money (but could do better at the reception).
