Location and scenery! Hotel is in a truly unbelievable location if you want quiet, calm and time to judt slow down. Hotel is very cozy and the staff are so friendly. Food is absolutely stunning and the choice covers all bases. Good selection of drinks and picnic benches across the road which give you that unbelievable backdrop in which to enjoy. Great hiking trail up and around the lake too.
As its very remote, so the public transport that comes past the hotel, is very spaced out in frequency. Every 2 hours to Tywyn and Machynlleth. It doesn't run at all on Sundays. Not the hotels fault obviously, just something to bear in mind if wanting to leave car at hotel.
