If you need a place for a short stay just next to the station (Lille Flanders), this is a good choice. It's literally just across the street. Short walk to the old city and next to the Westfield shopping centre, cafes, restaurants, supermarket, pharmacies, everything you might need.
Kettle in the room was a plus.
Wifi connection was good.
Breakfast was good, too!
Well, with this price scale you can not expect too much. It's an old building with old plumbing - the 'scent' in the bathroom was very strong. Single room is extremely small. Air-condition was a plus, but it was very noisy. When I tried to open the window, it was even more noisy, so I kept it closed. Soundproofing was not wonderful either, I could hear everything from the corridor (a guy kept yelling on his telephone and tv at the same time in a room close to mine...).
But all in all, with the price a paid, I would still recommend this little hotel for a short stop-by.

Amazing staff. from the receptionist to the breakfast lady, cleaners. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful
Room design was nice, modern and clean. Perfect location.
Maybe the only thing , was the lift which was very narrow, it would only fit one person plus a luggage. But even that brought more charm to the property.

The location was very good, - opposite the railway station
The superior room was very tint, although it was a double a second person would have struggled to access the bed from the other side.
The shower room was very basic and the toikwt coukd only be sat on sideways as it was against the wall.
