Staff was freindly and patient. Modern hotel and facilities although the room forniture need some refreshment. Located near the tram and a large mall

Great place to stay in Zurich

A lovely hotel in a great location in a great city but which puts the visitor 2nd (if you're lucky)

The hotel location and facilities were great

We made a booking for 5 people but were only provided with 4 beds which were too small to accommodate 5 people. When I raised this with the hotel staff and requested an additional mattress and or suitable bedding - I was told this was not possible. I was surprised at the lack of help and understanding from the staff. As a result our 2 night stay was quite uncomfortable. Additionally we were charged for 2 breakfasts having only consumed 1 as we checked out prior to breakfast being served. My request for a refund was rejected on the grounds that "The booking was binding". The request was then escalated to the General Manager who explained the hotel would not provide a refund "since we have not been informed that this is not needed in advance". When I reminded the GM we had advised in advance at the early check out the response provided was "Hereby the case has been closed from our side." I have requested the hotel provide the terms and conditions regarding cancellation notice periods and refunds. This has been met with the following, highly unsympathetic and disrespectful response directly from the Hotel GM. "As mentioned we have closed the case. – No message regarding this issue will be answered."

Clean, cozy and convenient

Highly recommend Engimatt Hotel. We received such a warm welcome by the receptionist. We arrived earlier than the checkin time and they were very understanding and let us checkin early which was very kind and helpful after a long trip. Our room was very clean, the bathroom was also so clean with all the needed amenities. We really enjoyed the cozy environment in the room. The service of the staff by was very kind, all the staff were very helpful with every question we had. The location of the hotel is great, close to everything. The hotel is very clean and quite.

luckily it’s only for one night !

Friendly staff.

Chose this place because of good reviews but realised it’s actually far from Zurich station as you have to take a tram ride and with many luggages and in winter it’s quite challenging.The external looks promising but the interiors are really old and the family room was disappointing as it’s just one room with four beds!

The hotel is close to my office so location was great! the staff is friendly and amazing Room is good and clean , Loved the experience !

The room is small and breakfast was not included given the high price you pay for the night
