Brilliant location. Good sized clean room. Quiet with windows closed and aircon on. Helpful staff. Decent restaurant for dinner. We only paid for basic double room which looked onto alley and back roof where kitchen extraction fan was but with windows closed was fine.
No tea or coffee making facilities in room. Surprising as in all my travels on 5 continents this is the only place where this had been missing. I also need boiling water for my medication. Luckily I asked and they supplied me with a kettle and mugs.

Old traditional features presented nicely
Bathroom:when having a shower it floods the bathroom, sealing of glass shower wall need replacing they are funky and broken… hairdryer flimsy

excellent location right in the middle of the Altstadt around the corner from everything (Getreidegasse, Dom, Cafe Tomaselli, Fürst, Festung Hohensalzburg, Mönchsberg, etc.). Beautiful old house, very well kept, very clean. The rooms are small though (a bit like in NYC hotels). Good breakfast with all essentials. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Reception gave me wrong info for 3 times about tourism office that was closed
On Sunday.

The lift was closed for repair for the castle
And not knowledgeable enough for a very small village
My room sink was clogged water was not moving
First night my bed was not flat but second night they changed the room
I had to move
I asked for coffee in the morning they could have offered for the inconvenience but no
$$$$
