A lovely small family run hotel overlooking the bay of La Spezia.
Very friendly staff, clean rooms, a balcony overlooking the bay.
Good breakfast on the terrace overlooking the bay. Very friendly staff in the restaurant. Lovely food. A great base for visiting Cinque Terra.
The hotel is up a twisty, steep partially untarmaced road. We didn't want to do this in the dark. However, the restaurant in the hotel was so good, we didn't feel the need to go out at night.

Incredibile sea views appreciated from our balcony, the infinity pool, the restaurant, and from several other beautifully landscaped terraces.
Room was beautiful and well appointed.
Great chef and quick witted delightful waiter/sommelier.

It was in a beautiful location perched high on a hillside with breathtaking views over La Spezia and the bay. The buildings were old and full of character but still with modern comfort and facilities. The restaurant was great too - the breakfast was lovely with barista coffee to order and the dinners were exceptional, some of the best food we’ve had in Italy. The staff were friendly and accommodating and were able to organise a driver into town for us too.

The view, the food and the staff.
The beds were a little hard and the linens stiff.
