It’s very easy to navigate and the staff were really helpful. The rooms had some nice AC and were very clean, the decoration also felt very authentic. We could immediately tell that the purpose was to make you feel comfortable and at “home”, rather than just a hotel room.
It’s quieter than the other hotels in the area which is perfect for when you want a holiday to relax.
The only issue we had was the doors felt a bit difficult to open and close at times. It’s not like most hotels with a keycard, it is a lock and key. Door often had to be slammed shut which was quite noisy and there was a specific way to get it open.

We love this hotel! It’s classic vibe, great staff, wonderful breakfast and dinner, the pool and the excellent air conditioning in the room. Buy olive oil from the front desk. The family has its own olive trees and makes the oil. It is fantastic.

Beautiful family run hotel in an excellent location. Close to the funicular for trips to Montecatini Alto and to the stunning Tettuccio Terme and the beautiful, shady park. Also a short walk to the train station for trips to Pescia, Pistoia, Lucca and Viareggio. Lovely, friendly staff who couldn't do enough for you. Delicious meals - authentic Tuscan food. Lots of choice. Great pool and jacuzzi with pretty flowers and shrubs in the garden. My room was upgraded which was great. Overall a lovely experience and would not hesitate to recommend Montecatini Terme and Hotel Torretta to anyone. Fantastic value as well!
