the location and the fantastic breakfast with lot of food
the hotel is old. The corridors and rooms need a serious renewal. the Bathroom was okay. What it bothers is to pay high cost for rooms in high season/end seaion when the Hotel feels old and not renewed.

WE LOVED the delicious food at the pool bar, great design of the 2 (and a 1/2!) pools, daily pool activities for kids (and adults who may act like kids 🙋🏻♀️), fantastic variety of the breakfast buffet, 1/4 of a block walk to a perfect beach, 1/2 a block walk to a great cafe on one end and the city bus to Alcudia center on the other end, beautiful view from our apartment, large living space, comfortable bed (and sofabeds!), and an endless collection of warm, helpful, and lovely staff members (starting with Paco upon check-in). Hotel Ivory Playa may not be the most modern and sleek hotel, but for 3 full days, it felt like a beautiful and inviting home away from home for us, ensuring a wonderful stay and the desire to hopefully return for a longer time soon (like the manyyyy of the repeat guests I spoke to at the hotel).
Not the most modern, sleek, and flashy hotel for the Instagram/TikTok crew -- but as a result, this ended up being a plus for us! Also, the towels are not the softest, but I'm REALLY digging here and trying to find something to not like! (Meaning, neither of these "complaints" is really a reason to dislike the hotel!)

Sound isolation of the room, too much noise in the evenings making it impossible to sleep for a 4 years old, dated and not properly maintained facility, cleaning around the pool could be better, asking money for towel rental
