Location was perfect and our room was excellent.
Breakfast was limited for a 4* hotel. Most staff were civil and efficient but not particularly welcoming or friendly. One or two were just superb. The guy at the pool bar was a credit to the hotel and they could all learn from him.

Unfortunately, I just don't think the hotel justified the price we paid. Breakfast was pretty underwhelming. There was no complimentary water in the room, only black tea and coffee in paper cups, which felt a bit cheap (and hot to hold) The staff were pleasant enough but not particularly welcoming. We were on the ground floor and it could be quite noisy, including vacuuming before 9am.
