The hotel was in a great location and offered parking on site for an extra fee per night. The rooms were clean and well kept but the A/C was unable to get cold enough for us to cool down from these hot summer days and nights.
Apart from what was mentioned above, I have no issues with the hotel. The staff were always attentive to our needs. My issue is with booking.com. I will NEVER use their site again. I practically booked a whole trip with them and also rented a vehicle to travel with my family from València to Granada. However, I was denied the vehicle at the rental place because I did not ha e an international driver's license. According to booking.com, all that was required was a passport and valid driver's license with recommendations to obtain an international license if necessary. They should have stated that this is mandatory for Spain!! I tried to obtain a refund and they blatantly DENIED me!!! I can see why they are under so much litigation. My whole trip would have been ruined if I wasn't able to book a new vehicle rental at the closest alternative rental car company, who of course DID NOT REQUIRE said international driver's license but only my passport and driver's license. Please never do business with booking.com but feel free to book separately at this wonderful hotel (Occidental Granada).

Great hotel. Nice guy on reception when checking in. Family room was a good size for the four of us. It was comfortable and in a good location with on site parking which was a bonus!
Would have been nice to have breakfast and parking included in the fee but otherwise no complaints at all.
